This video came to me as a reminder that I just failed the test two days ago with my father raising his voice and I telling my mother that she needs to tell him not to do that with me anymore because I'm an adult now. It felt like God just spoke to me through you and I feel so sorry right now. I leave home in two days and I'm like please God test me once again and let me try clipping my wings. Thank you teacher for this video. I'm very new to Islam, I was born in a Hindu family and I've learnt a lot from you.

Sahih Muslim 2691 Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who uttered these words:" There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all the praise is due to Him, and He is Potent over everything" one hundred times every day there is a reward of emancipating ten slaves for him, and there are recorded hundred virtues to his credit, and hundred vices are blotted out from his scroll, and that is a safeguard for him against the Satan on that day till evening and no one brings anything more excellent than this, except one who has done more than this (who utters these words more than one hundred times and does more good acts) and he who utters:" Hallowed be Allah, and all praise is due to Him," one hundred times a day, his sins are obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the ocean.Sahih Muslim 2691 Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: He who uttered these words:" There is no god but Allah, the One, having no partner with Him. Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa barakatuh, just say sorry, sorry to your father, and to your mother who you unwittingly pulled into an emotional tug of war. Say sorry to both of them, and if that gives you humility in your heart, be grateful to Allah because it is difficult to say especially when we are acknowledging our own shortcomings to, May Allah make everything easy for you and help you keep good relations with your family. may He also bring them into islam, ask Him. We are all after all, only people, and we will inevitably make mistakes, it is in our nature. Seek the help of Allah and make peace with your folks - don't compromise your deen, islam is your way of life now, may Allah keep you in his guidance and mercy and enable you to reach him in every success, but just be gentle and kind with your family, even when they struggle with your faith. Mashallah a great vlog. Sometimes it's sad and very hard to understand how parents play favorites, are unfair, abuse and fail to love the only child who really wants them. Exhausted and bitter I just turn to Allah...and pray hard hoping to forget it all. I look at the lesser fortunate people, my friends, my house help and pretend they are my family. And Sabr comes.

My brother, he is 18 years old he’s very rude & very disrespectful he gives my parents such a hard time and even hurts their emotions. he avoids going into public places with my dad out of embarrassment, he is always looking at what my mum has and be like why do you have that this should be mine, she doesn’t appreciate any single thing my parents do for him. please guys please please please pray for him that he changes that Allah guides him

Let's talk about the rights of children and how parents must fulfill the right of their children as barely any scholars and imaams talk about this subject. When children become troublesome one does not need to look any further than their mother and father to understand why. Intergenerational trauma and negligent and poor parenting is a real thing and it is high time that the narrative changes and parents are called out for their bad behaviour at an international scale through a global campaign. I feel for the children always. The dial needs to shift now big time.

He says when you were young your parents did everything for you. Ofcourse i love my mother and father but what if the parents were really bad parents who did not take care of their children, abusive parents who done really bad to their children and still are treating their children really bad and using them in a bad way. I try to find lectures about how we should behave and guars ourselves with these kind of parents please

I believe Ustad has already given the answer to your question. In short: Allah has told us to to distance ourself from toxic parents/relatives/friends when we have the ability to, this does not necessarily mean to sever our ties completely with them; if they ever come back to apologize to you, then forgive them if you find it in your heart. Bit if you believe that what they've commited is too grave then leave them in the hands of Allah. Either way, I hope you search and watch the video in which Sheikh explained how to deal with these situations islamically, assalamualaikum.

First of all: May Allah give success, victory and freedom to our brother and sister in Palastine. Aameen The reminder you gave is great, but the acting could/should be reviewed introspectively imho. Of course, now and then jokes can be made, but if the talk centers around this and oneself, then it's time to check and correct it, according to the Sunnah.
