If you are receiving government assistance.. your children should be in school.. with passing grades.. and stay outta trouble!!! Or YOU the PARENT.. loose your benefits 😮 If you're raising delinquent children.. of course you the PARENT should be held accountable!!! Fines for both.. and or removed from the HOME and placed in a orphanage! Of course.. they should build state run orphanages.. that LOVE NURTURE EDUCATE DISCIPLINE and build children up.. instead of tearing them down ❤ Far too often.. children are cast aside.. some due to mental state of the parents.. some due to drug addict parents.. some due to LAZY parents.. It's past due.. that we as a nation start HELPING these children before they become DELINQUENT 😮

I don’t believe that a fine is the way to go….. if a child believes his Mom will go to jail for crimes he committed he may not be so inclined to commit them. I also believe that there needs to be an attachment of school attendance to welfare. If you have a child under 18 and are receiving assistance and that child isn’t going to school you should lose that assistance.

Nothing like generating revenue off of crime...Then collecting that money will be fun and likely be written off because of the cost to bring case to court. In the end the taxpayers will absorb that cost...they always do.

What's to prevent overzealous prosecutors or dishonest judges from prosecuting involved non neglectful parents after their child commits some minor felony? What if your child lives in Tennessee with the mother and the father lives in Kentucky after a divorce, which parent takes the rap? This law is insane.

F I N E D ? ! ? Who’s going to PAY the fine? The parents from a low-income housing project? It CAN have some sort of effect on parents that can afford it. But the majority of criminal activity will be done by people below a certain income threshold and I guess we can just add it to their tab.

Say good bye to foster care to adoptions. This will make most foster parents who have tougher kids not even consider adopting. DCS likes to think all kids can be transformed and overcome their trauma in a good home. This is not always the case. It can happen definitely, but I know parents who adopted and the kids got worse overtime and were a real threat to the family and when the families called DCS for help they were told their name would be put on a child abuse registry if they tried to give up the kid after adoption. So now when a kid causes trouble the parent is in trouble with DCS and the law. Good going!!! I know many people in the poor house trying to get therapy for their kids.

You CAN discipline your kids and you can teach them right from wrong daily. Most of these kids are learning and acting just like their criminal parents, so let the parents be jailed for their kids' criminal acts. Maybe somebody will learn.

That's unconstitutional on so many levels, 1st, you'll have to give the parent a trial 2nd, you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the parent was involved in the crime, 3rd they have a right to a jury of their peers. 4th allow acres to attorney 5th confront the accusor 6th allow them to present evidence in their defense I could go on but I'm tired of typing. How can this generation escape going to hell?
