At least you have parents who will actually willingly watch BTS videos. I have to force my parents to watch it and even then they don't pay attention. You're lucky. Ok V is also now part of the dance line he was added after Singularity. You should let your mum and dad know that they also dance while performing live and that we welcome all ages into the ARMY im 65 and been ARMY now for 2 years (my kids think ive gone loopy but i dont care). They are the most lovable adorable dorks as well as being amazing artists and true performers. Sometimes its hard to believe they are grown men! They are continuously trying to become better at everything they do. At the recent concert in Singapore the stage became quite slippery and wet and Jimin fell over so they decided to change the last part of DNA and not do the last part of the dancing then they got clothes and dried the stage THEMSELVES multimillionaires on their knees wiping down the stage just shows how humble they are. So in ages they range from 26 to 21 in international age.

"Sometimes its hard to believe they are grown men.". This is a really twisted and sad thing to say. Just because they are dorky.... That only shows what stoic expectations men have to meet. My brother and I are in our thirties. We both have our own families, jobs, responsibilities over our wives and children and lives - and yet we are dorkie, goofy as hell when its not time to be serious. By nature I am really thoughtfull and rather serious, but like BTS I can be a total goofball. And these guys can also be serious when they need to be. Some Armys really have a strange view about BTS - either they are like little cute kids for them, cute puppies they want to adopt, a gay telenovela (Im not just talking about J-Hope stans here - moreso I mean these gay shippers (Taekook etc)) to watch or even something worse... My point is: dont you find it a little weird that you are surprised, or find it "hard to believe they are grown men"? I mean isnt that the more important question? What is it actually on these guys that makes it hard for you to believe they are actually grown men? I can tell you what it is: a picture of men which you have never seen before - men who arent afraid to be dorky, and only are serious when being serious is needed. I think this is sad. I wish my sons will grow up to be like me and my brother and BTS - not being afraid of being dorky and still be a man. I know youre in your sixties, so maybe you just have a rather oldfashioned picture of men and women.

cuddler what do you mean about Hobi stans cos Hobi is my bias? Also I love the fact that they challenge the male stereotype which some people view men to be like. They show that men aren’t this macho kind and are actually cute and goofy and aren’t just guys that go to the gym 😂 I honestly love they’re personalities it’s one of the main reasons why I love them

The only thing that bugged me about the video is that you just talked over it the whole time. My suggestion when reacting is to pause the video when you want to say something or explain to your parents who the members are. Other than that, good job on them for giving our boys a chance. :D

(just a suggestion) just because it feels hard to focus when the conversation topic has nothing to do with the music itself but srsly the reaction was good! V and Jimin were friends in highschool *because* Jimin got accepted into Bighit as a trainee and moved to Seoul. Jimin was the last member to join, and V took care of him in school, as Jimin was his fellow company trainee.They weren't friends before that.

J-Hoooooope! This is coming from a mom of a 14 y old ARMY daughter, I turned ARMY after we saw the Burn the Stage Movie together. And my bias is Hobi :-) We'll also watch Love Yourself in movie theater together next Saturday. So we'll all have fun together on the same day in different countries (we are German), what a nice thing that is :-)))))

@@aimeecharleson Haha, you shouldn`t think that I'm a good mom just because I support her with BTS ;-) I can be quite strict too, and your parents looked quite cool to me. You know we have to be like parents because we care for you kids and we worry a lot and we don't want you to make wrong decisions. At the end we mostly do the "bad" parent stuff because we love you kids. And yes, RM is also very near to Hobi, even though I love Hobi, I wouldn't even blink and marry RM, he's just a great personality and would fit mines better, :-D Well they all have great personalities, that's why it's so easy to be supportive for me, because they are great role models and I came out very impressed out of the movie. Then I started to search in youtube, and BAM! Their music, their videos, all the fun stuff and yes it doesn't hurt that the all look handsome ;-)

I find it amazing that you got your parents to sit down for this and give you the time of day when it comes to kpop. I try to get my mom to listen to a freaking verse and she "ain't got no time for that" 🙄 Remember people, showing interest in what your children have interest in IS👏🏾A👏🏾GOOD👏🏾THING. Here’s a quick breakdown of how Korean age counting works. You got the New Years thing right, but the additional year doesn’t come from their actual birthday. It’s because Korean babies are considered “1 year old” when they are born. So you’re one when you’re born, and then turn two at the new year. So technically, if a baby is born on December 31st, they’d be 1 year old as a newborn, and then turn “2 years old” on Jan 1.

yes...but don't forget to study co'z it seems that you're still a student.It's nice to appreciate a certain artist or group of artist as long as it will not affect your grades and your wholebeing in a negative way. Still respect your parents and maintain that close relationship you have..Lead a normal life,stay happy ..bts is a good influence on youth nowadays..They spread only positivity,love,acceptance and social awareness among others.so goodluck...

9:33 actually in korean culture we follow the chinese new year calendar and when you are born you are considered 1 year old. For example, this year chinese new year is on February 5th if you were born on February 4th you would be 1 year old then the next day on the new year you will then be 2 years old then on the next new year you will be 3 years old. Some koreans do celebrate their actual date of birth but most just have the new years celebration which is a very traditional celebration

i think it’s really cool how into this your parents seem, asking questions and stuff. my dad use to kinda make fun of me for it and he still kinda does but i think he’s slipping into the army life. he’ll even ask me to play fake love in the car and he jams out to boy with luv 😂

my mum didn't get why I liked them so much then she came with me to a concert. Her bias is Jimin though she also liked Namjoon at the concert. kinda unrelated but my aunt liked V when she saw a live performance video. My mum thinks they're really talented and hardworking and can tell them all apart even knows their stage names vs real names haha

The dad really got into the funny bits, he saved the reaction :) at first they weren't sure about them and thought stereotypically, but by the end I feel like the dad actually enjoyed himself :) the mom seemed closed minded at first but overall a supportive mother.

And then you got my parents who constantly complain about my "Korean boys"... My brother constantly thinks it's funny to call them names like noodles and Chinese guys... The only one who supports me for liking kpop and actually listens to my storys about it is my grandma and my best friend... My parents and family once said "But you don't know what they are saying" I'm just sad that they complain about Korean but not about spanish- (despacito)
