I've gotten samples of many of the other PDMs, and in my experience none of them come close to Layton and Layton Exclusif. The more I smell Layton the more I love it. Even the beloved Herod to me just smells like a hippie gift shop that has incense going 24/7. It's interesting but it doesn't blow me away - Layton does.

Both my girlfriend and I will disagree with you regarding both Pegasus and Haltane. Layton is definitely better than Pegasus (and we both prefer Pegasus Exclusif over Pegasus) while Haltane is better than Layton . . . Haltane is my girlfriend's absolute favorite while my favorites are both Herod and Carlisle.

Layton is my absolute favorite next to the original first formula Chanel Allure Homme, though I've only owned clones I've smelled Layton at a boutique and wow (Amber Oud Exclusif Bleu) is spot on, and I also smelled Althair and it blew me away, if I had to pick 2 from the house it would be Layton and Althair, but the house in general is literally one of the best of all them

I have Carlisle, Layton, Pegasus and Percival. I really like Herod too but the performance is seriously lacking sadly. My next on the list is Oajan which I believe alongside Carlisle is the best PDM. Oajan might be the best in the line but it’s a really close one!

PDM Carlisle and Althäir are my two favorites from the line. Carlisle for work and Althäir for play. Layton to me is nice but too basic.

Both Layton and Layton Exclusif are gourmand and delicious. PDM is not over-rated as some people say I think they are the best and most creative niche house which is why everybody tries to clone their original fragrances. Haltane smells like Oud for Greatness. The new PDM Althier is fire!

This is a fun video, though it invites an actual ranking next! Of course this is so subjective, but I rate Layton Exclusif clearly higher than Layton; when that first comparison was done, I was unsure about "why" -- that is, "Layton is better" was very conclusory. I thought at that point Layton would win it all; then I was happy that Herod rated better (I agree)... I think Pegasus Exclusif is better than Pegasus, too. Part of the issue of course is... if I have one, then what other one is better, too! Like Layton may be more versatile, but if I have Herod already then I'd want, say Pegasus Exclusif. But I have neither, I might want Layton.... so many prior considerations. (Also, maybe as an "old dude", I'm less impressed by Layton?)

Thank you for the video always a pleasure with you. I like Pegasus my favourite but I do not wear every day. I think Pegasus stops people in their tracks. I don't like Layton that much but I seem to come back to it. Definitely, not a fan of Layton Exclusive. Herod to me is romantic and sexy. Carlie makes me feel on top form and I feel people will perceive me as a top man.

Not much of a PDM fan😔...BUT, I've been thinking about "Turning up the fancy" 😂 Although "Attractive n Mysterious" for Herod is tempting as well, you can keep that saffron tho'. 😷 5 out 8, I'll stick to the "Perfect Boyfriend".... Of late, Fig n Honey has been my jam. Molinard Figue EDP layered with Victoria's Secret Wild Fig & Manuka Honey 😍 has me feel mysterious!😏 Ladies is loving it in the office, and I deny it's me everytime🤣

My opinion without changing the game rules it will be the following : 02:07 Layton Exclusive 🆚 Layton = I love them both equally 03:17 Percival 🆚 Layton = Layton is the winner 04:29 Herod 🆚 Layton = Layton is the winner 05:28 Oajan 🆚 Layton = Oajan is the winner 06:58 Carlisle 🆚 Layton = Carlisle is the winner 08:20 Pegasus 🆚 Layton = Layton is the winner 09:54 Haltane 🆚 Layton = Layton is the winner 11:31 Kalan 🆚 Layton = Layton is the winner 💡But if I have to replace the main competitor from Layton to Carlisle on my opinion: Carlisle for sure will be the winner all the way All PDM perfumes are phenomenal, amazing and great, Sandra, try to get at least decants for ( Habdan ) and ( Pegasus Exclusive ) I guess you will love them more than ( Pegasus ) however all still great

Yes Sandra pegasus is better than pegasus exclusif. I love pegasus. Yes Herod I absolutely love it. Pdm,initio is my favorite house. Herod does good on my skin no problem. Haltane i love it so dam good

Percival is great. It's versatile and pleasant. But I think there are many fragrances that accomplish the same fresh and clean vibe for less money. ADG Parfum, Dior Homme 2020, Platinum Egoiste etc. And if you take into account that you could get Haltane, Interlude, Reflection Man, Naxos or 2 designer bottles for almost the same price, Percival's price is just too high. I own a full bottle of Percival, and if it was $100 it was a 10/10. But at $250 I won't rebuy

@travisn346 That's a great deal! I agree with what you said. Imo after $200 it's more about preference and unique, challenging scents for enthusiasts. Compliments and performance will matter less, and the artistry will matter more. It's really a matter of what your goal is

@@DuSeun as far as niche goes, I gravitate to the versatile, wearable type (Aventus Cologne, Percival, Silver Mountain Water, Ani). I live in a hot and humid climate so I tend to stay with fresh and aromatic scents.
