Parguera, Puerto Rico - Bioluminescent Bay

An absolutely surreal experience swimming in bioluminescent algae that inhabit this bay in Puerto Rico. One of only three bays in the world that the bioluminescent algae thrives year round, Parguera is one of the most incredible spots on the island.
This video is a composition of all the best footage from the night of January 11, 2023. Raw audio & video.

I swam at night with my kids and it was amazing. However some people are saying there's more shark sightings and local fisherman swear it's safe.

20 yrs ago my dad moved there to dive. He died at 45 but at least he got to do what he loved❤
