fun fact: paris wasn’t originally part of the show, liza weil auditioned to play rory. the directors didn’t cast her as rory but they liked her so much that they wrote a part for her

Idk ,why the writers made Paris bomb her harvard interview ,I get Shock value ,but for someone who knows how to properly express and articulate their thoughts not mention she has prepared for it her whole life and she was a legacy right ?I don't remember; anyways loved her ;the wit was top notch .

Both Rory and Paris had to stay close to Hartford and Stars Hollow for the sake of the story/series. If Paris had been accepted into Harvard, we wouldn’t have seen her anymore after season 3.

I agree with you for the most part, but Paris is also not exactly known for being good under pressure. I think especially because she was so certain of it, the nerves fucking her up a little isn’t completely unbelievable

I think they wanted to bring Paris to Yale for more storylines, but also, they made it realistically because we all know Paris under pressure is the worst Paris ever

To me, for an intelligent but emotionally unstable 17/18 year old girl it's not that unrealistic. Also the writers wanted to take Paris with us to Yale, so it would only make sense to create a scenario in which someone as obsessed with Harvard as Paris was had no choice.

I honestly didn’t like Paris at the start. I thought that she was sort of bossy and a bully. And yeah she can be bossy sometimes, but I realized that she’s just very devoted to school and I love and admire her, for it. ❤️❤️❤️

This shows in episodes like the construction episode where Rory only does it because she realized that she had to volunteer to get noticed by these colleges, which she had never done before. So I just find it weird that she only needed good grades because that’s not enough for Ivy League schools like Yale and Harvard.
