Michael Jackson was asked by Ebony magazine in 1987 how he coped with fame. They asked him, "don't you ever wish you could go outside and just be left alone?", to which Michael answered, "It's part of the work, I would say". So there you go, it's part of the work. If Paris wants to be a musician or an actress or model, she has to get used to the press. She's already a millionaire living an incredibly privileged life, she could go into the background if she wanted to, but she choses to pursue a career in the entertainment field, so don't complain when the media shows interest in you, there's other people out there starting bands and what not who would give anything for that kind of exposure/attention.

People need to stop judging her just bc she comes from wealth and fame. Privilege doesn’t always equate to happiness. I can imagine there’s a very dark side to fame, especially being in the shadow of such a mega superstar father and then losing him as a child. A lot of people have their own trauma, and no one’s struggles are more or less valid than others. Ofc money helps give a level of comfort, but that doesn’t make family issues, relationships, societal pressures or mental health struggles any easier. Just a friendly reminder ✨

Sadly he did when they were so young so he never had the chance to assimilate them into the real world and I think he would have done a great job with that. While they were so little he had their faces covered so that they could go places without him and just be with other children and do things other kids do. They'd not have been able to do that otherwise because of the paparazzi. He was a good father, he knew what he was doing. You can tell to this day the unwavering love they have for him. While it was hard for all 3 of them it was definitely the hardest on Paris, she took it the worst. He'd be very proud of her, and at the same time so heartbroken to know how much she has and still is suffering. She was Daddys little Princess as her rother also has stated. Well, I’m sure there’s more to what Paris is saying. She and her brothers have endured so much before and after losing their father. Those kids went through so much change at such young ages. I hope and pray that Paris can find peace within herself. Michael did an amazing job with his kids when he was around. He would be so proud of all four of them for making great strides under the difficult circumstances they were under.

I dont blame her for having ptsd. How can u not when strangers will trample each other just to photograph you all your life?!?! Paris is living in MJ's life and voicing how tough and lonely it is. Good for her! #healing! I hope will and jada become like surrogate parents to Paris because at least Willow has fairly grounded parents who provide her with lots of guidance. Maybe they could extend that guidance & love to Paris.

Paris has grown into a very beautiful looking woman and reminds me of a young Sharon Stone. These young ladies are really paving the way for future generations of women and bringing awareness to trauma and mental health in general, not to mention women's issues. Good job Jada too on being a great interviewee and empathic individual.

@@courtneynewton-john8862 that IS literally the ACTUAL reason why drugs are referred to as "Dope". Meth is literally the same thing as Adderall. People forget just how terribly bombarded Paris and her siblings were by the paparazzi, especially during a time where there we no laws in place to protect them. Michael would cover their identities as the cameras desperately tried to catch a glimpse. Paris had a uniquely abnormal upbringing to a superstar dad that could hardly cope with his own fame. I think she survived her father and all that came with being Michael Jackson's daughter quite remarkably. I'm glad to see she still maintains her love and adoration for him, as she embraces their shared talent for music.

Sucks having mental issues. I got bullied for so long and even till my adulthood and it caused social anxiety, ptsd, panic attacks here and there. It got exhausting to the point where I’m so immune to it. I hate when it creeps up tho.. like she said when she hears a trash bag move and it triggers her. I would here someone close the door and I’d freak out.
