This channel says everything while also leaving the most important bits. Park Eun Bin revealed how drained this drama made her but you don't care to reveal that. She said she had to study hard like a student for 7 months. She not only had to learn technical law and whale terms but also remember her gestures and body movement. She said she was lonely, tired, and overwhelmed. If viewers are missing Woo Young Woo or Jun Ho, they can simply go back to watching the already concluded 16 episodes. Life itself has no ending so... Let Woo Young Woo continue her story in your imaginations.

I have autism, but I also have a degree in Civil Engineering (just as Woo Young Woo graduated from college too to be a lawyer). I can mask, but my unmasked self is definitely how Park Eun Bin portrayed the role. I say she is spot-on. Very talented actress. The show made my cry so much, seeing the my helpless self being acted out and I'm watching it. And how actually talented and passionate people in the spectrum are.

Season 1 was beautifully written, directed and acted. One cannot improve on perfection. Let it stand.

61 year old autistic high school teacher here. I LOVED this show. Since autism is a spectrum disorder, we are all quite different and possess varying abilities, tolerances, and mannerisms. I thought the portrayal of Young Woo was charming. The way the show highlights her eidetic memory via scrolled documents was fun to watch. I also liked how her bursts of inspiration were accompanied with wind blown hair and the sight of a whale rising out of the water. Due to my interests in French Napoleonics, my own bursts of inspiration are accompanied to the imagined triumphant fanfare of the French Imperial Guards, La Victories est a Nous.

No point in doing a second season without PARK EUN BIN….

You can’t have a season 2 without Park Eun-Bin

We definitely need a Season 2 BUT I cannot imagine anyone else playing the role of Attorney Woo other than Eun Bin. The actor who can replace her in this role has not been born yet.

They need part 2 because there's no answers for a lot of the characters.

To be honest, I understand her. It was extremely difficult to complete S2 for a drama that received great reviews and generated a syndrome not only in Korea but also globally. plus she play a very critical role. I'm not sure if we'll be able to reach the same level in S2. Most of us simply want Season 2 because we want to see more of the cast. I'm not sure if we considered the impact of the S2 on the cast, staff, viewer and to people w/ ASD as well. Even though I was looking forward to it... My heart is prepared in case it is not able to push through. but if not, let just remember WYW for the joy she brought to everyone and the warmth she provided. Hopefully, PEB will soon find another good drama.💗

I've never fallen in love with a character so quickly in my whole life. I was rooting for her all throughout the series and I found it so easy to sympathize with her. Junho also won me over immediately and he was her light in a sea of darkness. This was truly one of the most amazing shows I've ever seen.

I understand where she's coming from. Even though her previous roles were diverse, nothing is compared to the complexity of playing Young Woo. I can only imagine how stressful it must have been for her. However, we didn't get an answer for many things. It would be nice to see her relationship with Junho evolving to maybe them getting married. Also, more scenes of her mom and little brother. We still haven't seen Tae Sumi point of view during the pregnancy and also why attoney Han hates her so much. Let's not forget about attorney Jung cancer that was throw into the story out of nowhere. There's also our spring sunshine and tactician romance (though this part I care very little). Lastly, they could explore what being a lawyer means to Youngwoo, because It didn't think it made sense for her stay at Hanbada after everything that happened.

Park Eunbin gave this role her everything and did her best under incredible stress to not offend anyone. Playing a character on the autism spectrum could've badly hurt her career if executed poorly but she bravely decided to take the role so people would be more understanding and kind to those who are different. Anyone who pressures Eunbin into doing another season if she doesn't want to is a piece of garbage, especially when another season is unnecessary. The whole story felt cleanly and wholly finished by the end of season 1. The show is about Youngwoo's journey into adulthood and independence and the relationships she builds along the way. By the end of the show, Youngwoo symbolically steps through the revolving door and is ready to start living her adult life - as full attorney and with a boyfriend and friends by her side. Another season would just be fan fodder and not story-driven.

This show wasn't good but excellent, the script was great, the acting outstanding and the efforts by all the crew to realize this series all at really at another level. (Photography, effects just so well done!) It was so fantastic it leaves you wanting more and frankly leaves a drama hole. However, I believe an S2 reprise is not a good idea. It would be successful because of S1 and 'money talks' so the incentives to do Woo 2 are huge, but it will only disappoint as it will never have the 'magic' or 'chemistry' of the original season. As for Park Eun Bin not wanting to do more I can see a whole host of reasons to support her decision and whole heartedly support and respect her choice. It must be incredibly difficult to step into and maintain that character and make it 100% believable and relatable to a wide audience over so many episodes. Park Eun Bin rose to the challenge and made it real. This is both art and craft at the highest level and I hope it will be recognized handsomely as such both in Korea and Internationally. I frankly cannot wait to see Park Eun Bin tackle more roles that let her talent shine in other stories. It would also be churlish not to recognize the amazing cast surrounding Park Eun Bin that made it all 'come to life' for us too. In the end the star shines because of the team. It's gone, it's done, move on and brought a lot of joy, but please don't try to repeat.

If i can speak to Park Eun Bin personally, I would tell her. "You already have overcome the doubts and worries also able to perform really well, you dont need to worry about what other people to say. The ratings and reaction of the people from local to international have already showed the support and love. Just continue and we have your back."

Clearly, it's up to all those involved.. but to not have a 2nd season of such an extra-ordinary show & cast of characters would be a damn shame. This was my first time watching a Korean show and I was beyond thrilled with how much I enjoyed it.. I watched the last episode 3 times to capture all its nuances... please keep the momentum going

Please please do a second season! There's so much they can do with it. Hee relationship with her younger brother and maybe even her mother, the relationship between the second leads (other lawyer couple), her relationship with Junho, possible love for her father. There's so much to build upon!

As an autistic person who struggles to find good, if any representation at all, I'm personally hoping for a season 2. If viewers don't want one, they can simply not watch. If the cast, etc. don't want a second season I can only hope they'll come around in the next couple of years before production/filming is potentially scheduled. I do agree that Season 1 was tied up neatly and ultimately it stands well on its own, but one can always hope for more.

I suppose instead of 16, it should have been around 18 or 20 episodes to wrap it up in full satisfaction and it will not require a 2nd season. But the way the series was ended (though it is acceptable with or without a sequel) was as if a 2nd season is coming.

Park Eun Bin should get an Oscar Award or whatever you call it in Korean. Her acting is more than amazing ❤

I want to see a season 2 because there are several storylines that were not completed. I'd like to see Jun Ho continue to teach Young Woo about empathy in different scenarios, like when she called him to see him and he told her not to hang up until she asks if he is ready to. We don't know what will happen with Attorney Jung. Do he and his wife get back together? Does his health improve? Does he start his own law firm and take his team with him to alleviate his stress at work? What about Su-Yeon and Min-Woo? Does their relationship turn romantic? However, I do respect the feelings of the cast and crew, and if everyone is not on board, then season 2 should not happen. It wouldn't be the same if even one of the cast is missing, and that goes for the writer and director as well. Having said that, the talent in Korea is leaps and bounds over the US, in my opinion, and there have been many successful season 2s.

Watched this series 3 times and still can't get enough of Woo Young-woo. Park Eun Bin's acting is always impressive and a delight to watch.

After watching the very 1st episode, I was already dreading the season to end. But when it ended, I was very satisfied. This was wrapped up very well and a 2nd season can ruin my love for this drama.

I’m a retired school psychologist in the US and this was my first Korean drama. When it ended, my heart sank! I thought I’d have to wait for season 2. I didn’t realize that TV dramas in Korea are typically for just one season. I was crushed. I thought Park Eun-bin was excellent in her role. I was so impressed that I also watched The King’s Affection! I tried to watch other shows that she’s been in, but they are not available dubbed in English. If there were to be a season 2, I personally would only want to watch it if Park Eun-bin was back in the title role. So, that being said, it probably should just be one season. ❤

I loved both this series and The King’s Affection! Park Eun Bin did a great job in both! I would really like to see a second season at least to tie up a few loose ends. What ever she chooses to do I will be looking forward to seeing her in other acting endeavors. I am a retired American who doesn’t speak or understand Korean but this series and The King’s Affection captivated me. I’m becoming a big fan of K drama!

I really loved the first season, but I think there were a few things that we didn't get to explore more, like the relationship between the secondary characters and most important between the main couple, they got back together eventually but we really didn't see much what ended up happening with their relationship, or how they resolved the issues in their relationship, and we didn't get to see what kind of lawyer she wanted to be, or what happened with their senior who was sick, there's a lot of inresolved stuff in my opinion...

Unbelievably fun drama where Park Eun Bin delivered truly exceptional performance that no others can match. I wish no second season for her sake, however. The only direction from the peak is down. I hope to see her in movies and dramas and shine in different ways.

Agree. There are dramas that is better with open ending, letting viewers get their own ending to imaginations, like EAWYW. Unlike thriller dramas or crime dramas where a possible of different direction it can go to has a wide variety. Remember Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Goblin, it was ended as it should be. Having a season 2 is not always worth it.

This Kdrama is not only very good, it’s almost perfect. The actors and actresses were perfect for their roles. The writer, the director and the team were perfect in doing their jobs. But why did I not give a perfect score? There were many unanswered questions, there are some issues that need closure. Given this, I think season 2 is necessary. I respect Park Eun Bin but she has enough time to reflect and reconsider the role of being Woo Young Woo. There are many avenues to explore ( the viewers have mentioned them), stories to develop and issues to wrap up. Honestly, I want Park Eun Bin and Kang Tae-Oh to be back on the screen. I have complete respect for Park Eun Bin and her courage in the acting characters she picks. If she chooses to move on in her career and not repeat Extraordinary Attorney Woo in a Season II, I will accept that. I hope her other fans will accept her “doubt and pressure.” It’s not the money men in the highest top structure who play the complex characters - it’s the actors and writers and the producer - who won our hearts and our buying power times 10. If we only get one season - it was truly beautiful and it ended well. The two top actors in the series have other life obligations and without them, it can not be the same.

It was an happy ending I agree with that but it's not complete cause myeong seok did not end up with his ex wife and choi su yeon and kang min woo are not dating and most importantly they did not reveal woo young woo's mother who is from taesan.... So I think even though the drama has a happy ending it is not complete

I fully understand Park Eun-bin's pain, and I fully agree that she would have given such an interview because she suffered so hard and achieved this much. However, it is also true that the remaining stories are not yet neat, contrary to such interviews. I want to see more advanced love relationship with Jun-ho, establishing relationships with her mother and her younger brother, and discussing disputes between Han Sun-young and Tae Soo-mi, and above all, whether attorney Chung will open his business. All of this has to be possible with S2, so isn't it inevitable if the main character of this drama is hard? As a person living in Korea, my personal assessment is that there is no replaceable actress of that age who can take on this role! I hope that S2 will be made when she decides to do it again, even if a great script is re-made, and it takes time with enough advice.

I completely understand Eun Bin, and I respect her for whatever decision she will make. But as a viewer who really loved Season 1, I would like to see at least another season just because I wanted some questions from season 1 answered and to know more of the main characters’ storylines. In Season 1 we only had glimpses of the characters’ worlds as they were always focused on the case per episode. I think if we get a Season 2, hopefully we’ll get to know more about the main cast this time. Like Suyeon coming from a rich family with her dad being a judge, Junho’s family and his parents being lawyers too, Minwoo’s family and him being a breadwinner, Atty Jung’s new life with his wife, and of course Youngwoo’s relationship with her mom and brother. Not to mention the continuing rivalry between Taesan and Hanbada. I just love how Season 1 ended beautifully, yet if they plan to have another season, there are still SO MUCH to tell and I think people who loved the show in S1 would still be there if ever S2 will push through. I hope Eunbin would at least reconsider and think about it.. but then again, whatever she decides, I respect it. 💖

In the interview, she also said that throught 7-8months, she feel very stressed and feel like,going to exam everyday. She had to hold very high responsible not to get sick and not get covid like eat in her car alone 7months. Due to she is in the most scene. I respected her decision whatever. Of course as fan, I want ss 2, May be when script was solid, hope she feel refresh and gain confidence to join.

I saw somewhere that Park Run Bin found doing the drama very difficult because some of her scenes were very long and memorizing them was very hard. Also -- probably because of the long scenes -- there were a zillion retakes. She said there were more retakes in Attorney Woo than in all the other dramas she's done put together! I bet she's exhausted. The drama ended with all of the story threads basically dealt with, so clearly it was written to be over now. And they did a great job. You have a sense of where it's going. That's enough.

I live in the U.S. and have an autistic son whom is 26 years old and I absolutely LOVED this show. It was precious!!! Wow she nailed this acting job! I hope she will come back for season 2!!!!! Please do more seasons!!! Loved it!!!!

I think you should edit the title. She didn't reject anything because s2 was not formally offered or discussed with her (and the rest of the cast). She only found out in news articles just like the rest of us. Which I think was really unfair for her. Now it seems that all the burden now sits on her shoulders. Because if she doesn't agree to a season 2, fans will be angry or disappointed with her. If she does and s2 does not do well as the first one, then that will be really heartbreaking for her. I would've wanted a s2 too, but after reading her interview, I felt so bad and so sad for her for all the hardships she had to endure for this show. She really gave her best. At this point, I think she is just really exhausted and still overwhelmed. So hope everyone can just give her a break and enough time to rest.

Yeah as much as I would love to see a season 2. It could possibly be disappointing and I understand how that would happen. The one thing I loved about this character attorney Woo was the fact that she was pure, innocent an intelligent which is a very rare thing these days. Most unusual show I've ever watched and the first time I've ever watched any type of series with subtitles and i was glued and moved the entire time. So for me I think season 1 is all it needs. As much as I loved it and loved the characters 😊

Park Eun Bin did a beautiful job in the movie. I agree with her in not coming back for a Season 2, but why not focus on the Brother in the sequel? He exhibited less Autistic behavior because he must have had expensive medical treatment, but he was also a genius. It would be nice to see him also become a lawyer because of the help he got from his older sister. Also to work in the same office, against his mother. A little resentment b/c his mother did not want his sister. Put closure on Attorney Woo by letting her get married and moving to the US.

i'm still on ep 8 of the show but i'm already enjoying it! besides being a legal drama & introducing a lawyer in the autism spectrum in korea, im also loving the dynamics among the characters 🥺💗 i agree that it'll be hard to top season 1 but i do hope they'll pull a hospital playlist move for this 🤧 (coming back with a new season with an interesting plot)

The show ended things abruptly. There are a lot of questions yet to be answered that's why I thought we're gonna have season 2, and they did announced it. But seeing Park Eun-bin honestly and openly admitting playing WYW is a challenge, I can totally understand where she's coming from. She did a good job at it because she was committed and dedicated into giving the best representation of people with ASD. However, playing a role that needs a certain amount of consideration and sensitivity would drain an actor no matter how talented or professional they are in acting, Eun-bin included. No matter what she decides to do I hope the producers and directors would respect it. And if ever they decided to push for S2 with everyone's full heart in it, then I would gladly watch and support it!

This show needs a second season! I want to see Atty. Woo get married and have her own children! I want the feud between the CEOs of Hanbada and Taesan to be settled once and for all. I want to see Atty. Jung get his second chance to be with his wife. I want to see if Choi Su-Yeon and Kwon Min-Woo are the real deal! And where is the love for the adobale Dong Geurami and hairy boss Kim Min-Sik?

Season 1 Park eunbin has given her best ability in bringing woo young woo into life through her acting. The story of woo young woo journey also wrapped up neatly in the final episode. No point ro have another season to see how she settle down because that would be ordinary and no longer extra ordinary.

Season 1 itself was beautiful and fulfilled. Originally, Korean dramas did not make a season 2 just because they were popular. They don't drag with seasons and are always looking for new topics. Of course I'd love to see S2 when it comes out, but it's not bad to end with such a good memory.

I want a Season 2, I think there are plenty more stories to be told. I hope the original cast stays on.

I learned a lot about law watching Young Woo as an attorney, and I really liked the portray of Eun Bin she is a great actress, I watched it at first because I liked her in the King's Affections, I also liked Jun Ho in Run on. I am a 77 years old Mexican lady watching Netflix in Canada.

There will always be criticism no matter what. Just do your best. Worth watching.

I honestly don’t want a season two but I would love to see extra episodes like of their everyday lives like mini episodes of the characters going out and having fun and more about their other cases but besides that season one as it is, is basically perfect to me so I think I wouldn’t mind leaving it at only one season as much as i love the show

Park Eun Bin did an outstanding job. The cast was great and everyone in the core group did a wonderful job, each one very endearing in their own way. I do understand all books, shows come to an end, however this show is like the American version of Friends. We all just want more. Thank you actors for brilliant acting in a drama.

I would absolutely love to see another season. I’ve watched Season twice already.

Having multiple seasons for a K drama is really rare. Why? Because the K showbiz actors and actresses would rather make a totally different drama with a different role and a different experience than go and have a Season 2 of the same role. Not only the actors would be typecasted, for them to do different roles will further show their talent and and diversity rather than being monotonous. If you can check out the interviews of the Hospital's Playlist cast, they all don't want to do a third season despite the drama's success. For PEB, doing the role of Atty. Woo took a lot of preparation, memorizing and stress, so I don't think she will want to undergo that the second time.

Extraordinary Attorney Woo, I believe, has shed light on Autistic Spectrum Disorder in a caring and respectful way. Having first been introduced to the disorder in the movie Keys to the Heart, I was eager to watch Extraordinary Attorney Woo. I was not disappointed. Portraying an autistic person accurately, while still maintaining respect has to be one of the hardest things to accomplish, and Park Eun-Bin accomplished it so well that I really could not tell the difference between her and an actual autistic person. I understand how hard it must have been for Park Eun-bin to prepare for this role, but by virtue of the way she did so in Season One, I think she would excel just as well if not better in Season two. And, since I'm a Rom-Com addict, nothing would please me more than seeing Woo Young Woo and Lee Jun-Ho tie the knot. Since I have witnessed Park Eun-Bin's skills as an actress in her numerous films and series I have no doubt she would do well in Season two.

I absolutely adored this show! I think season 2 is a great idea as I would really love to see more of it, but only if it's relevant to the story and consented to by the crew.

I hope she has some time to relax. But I hope season 2 can delve into the supporting characters a little more. We only got a little bit of why Min-woo is so competitive. Why do the two CEOs hate each other and want to take each other down? We know very little of Su-yeon as well.

As with any successful show, we must mourn its completion and just dream up the next chapters. Also watch and re-watch millions of times 😅

I would think if she went for a whole new season she might burn out. She says its a very difficult role to play. There were openings in the storyline for season 2 but it would be fine if they let it go. Its a rewatch show for sure. I see so many shows go to crap when they do too many seasons and struggle for new episodes. They just don't stay fresh for very long.
