Park Grass Hunt With The Minelab Manticore Metal Detector

Back to the old park for some metal detecting in the grass with the Minelab Manticore metal detector. Did we find anymore old coins? What did we uncover?
In case you are wondering, Christine chose to film on this hunt. She was rather spent from work. We will get her out digging plugs again soon!

That little part to a necklace unscrews it is the clasp I have used them when I make jewelry. Also the double ended religious piece is from a Rosary the cross would hang below it. My Sister makes Rosaries she has some like it.

Hey Bill you guys got me into this hobby and I just wanted to say that I got some pants that have inserts for knee pads...keeps you from carrying around the foam piece and really helps my arthritic knees LOL...Good job and happy hunting.

Nice.... someone (maybe you) made a comment in a recent video about cargo pants with the ability to insert pads. Great idea. I will be looking into them. I use the pads mainly to keep my knees dry but that would be a good upgrade and free up what I carried.

That item just below the square nut looks like an attachment that would screw onto a sewing machine to feed the fabric. The red religious medal is Our Lady of Guadalupe……beautiful. The round silver object with holes at each end should unscrew. It would close a necklace. Great ring. Buddy is perfect!

I love pumpkin bread. Bill you can have a small piece as long as you keep moving. I’ m type 2 and wear a Dexcon 7 it’s a game changer. I have reduced my A1C from 7.2 to 6.4 in just a few months. I love watch you two.

Like your cutting board tool. You might try a bandanna sometime. They are much easier to dumb the dirt back in the hole with than stiffer drop cloths or old cutting boards. Bill, those are your boots that Christine is wearing, right?

Silly question, but did you try hunting over where you actually found the Indian head? Just thinking, maybe the majority of the park has new top soil, where the spot you found the cent was not back filled or covered in new soil. Just asking.

We were using it (flexible cutting board) to put the dirt from the hole on.... makes it really easy to put the dirt back in the hole after the dig

We were not sure until I noticed the Orbits on the top....and they actually unlock the sprinkler box at the house. Why have keys if they are all the same?...lol
