Hello,
I invite you to compare Park Tool TS-2.3 truing stand, and three times cheaper Taiwanese Bike Hand YC-512. From the video you will find out, what makes them different, and what connects them. As well is it is worth paying extra for Park Tool, or maybe Bike Hand offers the same for much lower price :)

I have a bikehand truing stand and the stand right-left was not inline, so its hard to find the center of the wheel because its move when tightening the bolts

You need to calibrate it. Tutorials on how to do this can find on YT. You can use a special tool, or wheel for this, which you can be sure is perfectly straight.

You can't, the thing will move anyway. I also have it...

@@nadsim154 You must calibrate it correctly. I set mine to a perfectly straight wheel, and everything was fine.

@@COOLBIKEyt the problem is the vertical stand between right and left wasn't inline, it can't be adjusted. My solution is to put a washer on the gap between the base and vertical stand near the axis, and then right/left vertical stand correctly inline. The other problem is...axis for the tilting stand wasn't inline again between left/right side, such a poor product. I don't know if this only happened to my purchased batch

This stand will not accommodate 148mm hubs. It says it will fit 150mm but with thru axles you need the adapters and it won’t fit.

Hi, you can fit BOOST 148 hub in to Bike Hand, but instead of adapters you have to use the axle from the frame on which the wheel will rotate.

I would bet, the Park Tool stand is most likely made in Taiwan or China as most things are these days. So the Bike Hand is most likely best value for money. I made my own wheel truing stand so I don't need either of them.

You are wrong, Park Tool makes its tools in USA : kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f7ORmLuJ39bRcoU.html You will find it in 0:34s But does this mean that they are better quality than those made in Taiwan or China...? it all depends on the factory, and manufacturer. Big advantage of Parkt Tool is possibility of rebuilding it, availability of parts, and fact that it keeps the price better. But you are right, that the price-quality ratio is better in Bike Hand.

The truing stand is made in the park factory, but a lot of their generic tools are rebranded cheap tools with a 150% mark up in price for a bit of blue plastic

@@COOLBIKEyt the beam torque wrenches are rebranded craftsman. the general wrenches cost about £80 in the uk, we have a tool shop called machine mart, they sell Clarke wrenches with red plastic on for £23, take the plastic off both park and Clarke the parts numbers are the same, guess the park sockets, ratchet wrenches and ratchets will be the same. The pliers, snap ring pliers, slide hammer, will be bought in cheaply and rebranded, as park won’t be selling big numbers of tools to make everything themselves. I’d guess they do make freewheel, cassette and bottom bracket tools themselves as they are bike specific specialist tools. In Europe we have a good range of good quality bicycle tool makers like Unior, Cyclus, VAR, Cyclo, Bitul, BSC. I tend to buy from those, especially Unior who do make every one of their tools in their factories, made with steel from another Unior factory, they even make their own packaging in house as well, and have done for 104 years. park for me are a last resort tool, I only buy them if I can’t get a quality tool from elsewhere, their videos are excellent though, I will praise them for that.
