@@rinny4915 probably because its approach to level design is incredibly similar and a multitude of other facets that its perfectly reasonable to call a Soulslike with loot grinding

the fact that it has mission based progression should set it apart immediately, it has souls like aspects with difficulty and like you said, enemy design, but alot of that comes from ninja gaiden aswell. It has alot of unique elements which just doesnt match the souls like description from my point of view, same with sekiro

@@rinny4915 Soulslike does not mean exactly the same as Dark Souls, it just has a lot of similar qualities which the Nioh games do. It has combo type combat and diablo style loot but it is still definitely a soulslike.

Oh my God. I remember my brothers and I playing Raymen Legends like this. Only there were often not 2 of us, but 3, sometimes even 4. After completing the campaign, we began to play together, with my twin brother. Each of us occupied different buttons on the laptop. It was hard, but a lot of fun. Because of this type of play, one of the Origins levels became a parody of the Touhou Project for us, it was a real Bullet Hell, with a small number of checkpoints and an incredible requirement for concentration. But it was all so much fun. Thank you for bringing back memories of this for me.

Unpopular opinion, but BRB are well designed fights, and my 2nd favorites. In the first fight, you can play with Elder health bar to keep the sibs manageable, and the 2nd time the sibs stay back except for a handful of attacks, and you can tell which is aggro by the status effect. Plus you can play with the health bars of the sibs to kill all three before elder spawns

probably best gank fights in a while, they handled the aggro pretty well where it isn't easy but it also doesn't seem unfair

The developers did something with the three final bosses, otherwise how can I explain that I spent 4-5 hours on each of the Rabbit Brotherhood, the Puppet King, and the Swamp Thing. And I defeated Laxasia on the third attempt, Manus in general on the first, and Nameless on the fourth. No, of course my skill has also grown, but not so much.
