If I win the subwoofers, I plan to start a project with my 19yr old son. It will be for his car, but I think it's best for me to assemble the best system possible. Starting from the receiver, then I would like to have a equalizer last time I was satisfied with 9band but idk I might go bigger than 9band. Then we move on to the tweeters in midrange amplifiers, as well as the subwoofer crossover, then finally mono subwoofer amplifier, then subwoofers... Thank You very much for your time... I had an IX10dual 2 wired to 1 ohm on an rp800.1 and blew the sub within five minutes lol. Also didn’t really know what I was doing at the time. Thanks to people like you I have learned a tremendous amount. Keep it up man!

Thanks Parker for finally testing out the IX series! I've been running these in my SUV and I'm happy with them. I knew they would take rated power with no trouble and now we know what it takes to blow them. The roof throws gave me some laughs too. If you want to send those BBs my way I can put them to use in my daughter's rig.

i had 3 sets of those in my house (vid on my channel) and i really did love them, they do rated and are cost effective been looking at sound stream bxw124 as well, pretty low price with similar specs except 114 oz(bigger) mag 2400w claimed but i suspect more like 750(+250) max 2 inch coil (same)

Used to have a set of these in a box I made/tuned specifically for these subs. They were pretty loud and very efficient, was definitely happy with them. Used to pump about double the RMS rated power into them and they held up. Good subs for a budget build!

Yo! It was cool to see something different! Definitely put me in the running for those Black Brick subs! Those cheap Skar subs were seeing 2k-3k for a good long time before they blew up. Just goes to show, you can put a lot of clean power on even decent quality subs in general before they blow up, and these subs with 3 inch coils with the black high temp glue should take a ton of clean power before they go, so don't be afraid to overpower your subs a little bit. Clipping is usually what kills subs when they have the right amount of power. This is why clip lights are such a valuable thing to have on your amp in my opinion. Ill pay the extra money for a decent amp with a clip light on the bass knob. Its so useful for finding the clip point of the head unit, the amp, and the particular song you are playing at the moment. Even if you set your gains with a DD1+ or something, every song can have a different clip point. Especially those bass boosted songs that us car audio enthusiasts like to demo and play for people.

Hey Parker ill take those BlackBrick subs. I'll be putting them in my 08 Malibu. I lost my old setup because of my stupidity. My old car got towed and I waited to long to try a get it back. They sold my car for auction. I lost a Mtx 2400x, 2 12 inch Rockford Fosgate hx2s in a dual slot ported box, Diamond Audio M3 6.5 and 6x9s, Jvc head unit, and just a cheap legacy 2 channel on my highs. I wish I still had it to put in my new car. I really miss having a system. Im a long time basshead and a ex installer. Shout out to The Sound Factory in Knoxville Tennessee.

Parker u are aware ur gonna fry ur amp by blowing subs with it when a sub blows usually both speaker connectins touch so basically ur sending huge amount of power then taking the positive and negative and touching them together i bet ur amp goes into protect everytime u blow a sub with it

I would love to see you get a pair of Qpower subs and put it thru abuse Ive put the 12" & 15" Qpowers thru 5000 watts and they held up amazingly

I just killed a set of subs with a bad set of RCA cables I didn’t find till it was to late would really help to have some new ones for the trunk it’s amazing how fast distortion will melt a voice coil when you don’t know it’s there LOL when the sound changes remember something is causing it to change... keep up the good work and testing

Go to Walmart. Search in plumbing area, bathroom, and/or automotive you will find what looks like a swirly snail which is a thin one sided sticky foam gasketing/padding which I recommend you add to the back of your license plates. It will help absorb the vibration. Nothing I hate more than rattling parts of vehicles. I only allow it if I hear the bass over the noise... I wish I still had my two 12in HCCA's. Teamed those up with a JL 500.1... Those handled pretty well..

I made the 2x4 box 4.5cu tuned to 34hz. Videos on my channel. It’s pushing svr12s with rp2000.1. The box is my first build ever. It’s bangs so hard. I love your videos. I find out what subs can handle what. Like dyno video but better because you test it out with songs on a crazy setup.

I have a taramps MD 5000.1 I bought because I watch your videos for a while I like them I just don't have no subs.. the box is 3/4 MDF with fiberglass reinforce.. good videos bro you been very helpful with my build

Ive had an ix8 & ix12 blow with rated power. No bottoming out or nun. The ix12 had some voicecoil strands come apart. It didnt even burn up, just fell apart. I wish they made em better, they sound great when they’re not burning or falling apart. They may take some power, but they’ll blow sooner than later.

I worked a long time bought a taramps 3k ,ran all 0 Guage wire,got my crossovers and tweeters,extra battery, custom made box for 2 12s... then my mom passed away on 5-19 and I used everything for her funeral so now I have to wait on my build.
