All new Parkside 40V garden pump seems pretty promising machine. The PGPA 40-Li A1 features a maximum head of about 26 meters and a run time of 70 minutes with 2x8Ah batteries.

Pretty nice pump, given it lasts. One small advice: As far as I know, Gardena connectors seal against pressure, but not against suction. You could hear the pump pull some air, so if you want to eliminate that, use a screw-on connection on the suction port. By the way, I think it is very interesting when you open up stuff to give us a glimpse inside. I appreciate it.

Hi there. Can't figure out how to connect hoses on mine, not sure if there are pieces missing. Would you be able to advise what you have used and the measurements of them? Driving me mad

I wonder how this would cope with dirty water. Either water contaminated with gravels so for pumping out a small pond or for pumping out water from a septic tank. This may have small lumps of paper which have not been dissolved.
@icku
@icku Жыл бұрын
Depends how dirty is the water. You can see in the video that there are relatively small opening inside the impeller section. Those could get clogged pretty easy. I suggest using it with filter :)

Available for over 2 years. Don't know if that many people are buying them though, apart from in the shop, never saw one in the wild. Everyone is buying the stupid 4Ah.

Hi, have you checked how much of water can in pump (for a given height) on one set of batteries (2x4Ah or 2x8Ah) or at least how much of time it works? I need a pump like this but it would have to make at least 1000 liter, 4 meters up on one set of batteries and I can't find information if it would do.

@Dea02320 Жыл бұрын
It depends on your water network at the outlet, and on the pressure drops. Without pressure drops, the manufacturer indicates 3000l/h. with a simple pipe without reduction, and 2x8Ah, you can transfer 2/3 m3

hello, how does pump behave when end of hose is not open? e.g. could i use a hose open, then closed, then open etc.. without turning pump on and off?

@siflons6592
@siflons6592 Ай бұрын
@@icku the output end. i.e. does this stop pumping to avoid pressure build up in line? if i wanted to connect it to pressure washer or such which would have intermittent use - on for 3 minutes. off for 5, on for 3 minutes etc..
@icku
@icku Ай бұрын
@@siflons6592 No, it wont stop. Its centrifugal pump. It does not care about pressure build up and cannot build such pressure to burst the hose like a piston pump. It will stop on lack of supply water like mentioned in the video.

What stage is the saw at? Prototype? Like a 12V impact wrench or it is a finished product? Are there any pictures online? And if, how to find it?
@hanf022

@@aaronozjaszowiczszechter9665 You will not find any pictures right now. The performance saw is complete black and it looks similar to the current green 40V chainsaw. No information at the moment, but it will have a 40cm sword too. Hopefully it has no SOFT START like the current one, because this function is completely annoying and time killing.

Hi I recently tried to use mine but can’t get it to suck the water, have fitted a 19mm hose with back flow stop on the suction side and a standard garden hose on the delivery side, it just seems to suck the water that you pore into the pump, and not the bucket, it’s a 7m suction hose that I got from a hardware store and fill the pump before starting it. Any suggestions thanks
@icku
@icku Жыл бұрын
You have air trapped inside the hose. Fill it with water and the pump too with water and it will work.
@callyknockbride

Hi thanks for that did work for a bit but then just cut out as if there was no water, but if you switch it on again it pumps a bit of water and cuts out again

The biggest issues with the most parkside tools ist the non equal quality from one machine to another and alot parkside tools do not last long until they get broken (2friends leave parkside in meanwhile because of the short lifetime of some tools). Use this pump often for a water sprayers, watering plants or another stuff like that, it will be broken soon. It is not engineered and build to use it often. When I only see the impeller 3:08, how it is made, the small screws .... I am sure the inside of the pump does not look better. You get what you pay and that ist not much. When you count during the years how often you have to replace such cheap built pump it is cheaper to invest one time more money in something good (when you need it often) and have it for a long time. Parkside owners often have alot different tools, but nothing good what lasts long. The buy the stuff because it's cheap, not because it's good. What I really like, parkside has alot different machines for all kind of work. The simply do it, they do spent years with discussing until they start someting new. Other companies could learn alot from parkside in this case. People ask for a new tool or there is any new idea, they simply do it in a short time and they can offer a product (other companies not).
