October 30, 2020 - Gwinnett County rivals play under the lights on ESPN2 as Parkview (GA) takes on undefeated Grayson (GA). USC commit QB Jake Garcia (No. 20 in the ESPN 300) made his debut for the Rams. He had plenty of help from Clemson commit RB Phil Mafah. Parkview was lead by Tennessee commit Cody Brown and WR Jared Brown.

I watched Jake Garcia in his only game with Valdosta. He did good but had a terrible offensive line at Valdosta. He seems to have a better oline at Grayson but those schools up North are known to recruit. With that said, I don't understand why he wasn't eligible at Valdosta but was at Grayson. I really believe GHSA likes the North Georgia schools better than the South Georgia schools.

yeah the lack of consistency is head hurting. He should be ineligible to play in the entire state or he should have remained eligible at Valdosta

@@tobyallen6393 I know that's right but I saw comments on Facebook saying his mom is with him and his dad which made him eligible to play at Grayson. I still don't like the GHSA but I guess rules are rules. Something needs to change though.

Not that it might matter but I believe Grayson scored 48 points instead of 47 considering they made a 2 point conversion on there first TD but it was broadcasted as a field goal for 1 point

@@lilredmane I know the whole story and he was granted eligibility here at valdosta but all of a sudden because his parents planned to get back together nope. It's the grudge the ghsa has with coach propts I fully believe that. They have tried time and time again to get that man out of GA. But the situation between valdosta and grayson was/is exactly the same. His parents legally separated him and his dad moved submitted all the same paperwork here as they did in grayson

@@EjMonteagudo frosh at Long Beach Poly, then Narbonne, then he transfered but never played at La Habra HS, before going to Valadosa and now Grayson! Before he grads he might try IMG or free agency 😉

@@brycetsawyer Narbonne Jake Garcia was so good LAUSD banded them three years out of the playoffs banded their coaches, AD, Principle. Narbonne has 12 City Championships in the past 13 years in Southern California. USC commit Garcia is the real deal.

I’m from Georgia and this is one the worst Grayson teams they’ve had in years. They aren’t a bad team just the teams I’ve seen them have the last 6-7 years this is the worst one. The other teams they’ve had would beat the team they have now. Maybe Grayson a few years ago would be a better match up for img
