'THE DVD' is a 90-minute documentary following the rise of the Australian metal-core juggernauts Parkway Drive. The film follows the quintet from humble beginnings on the beaches of the NSW North Coast to storming stages all over the world.
Part documentary, part extreme-sports video, part live footage...all metal! As an added bonus, the disc features a full live set shot at Sydney's Roundhouse, SweatFest Tour 2008.

@@olliewhitham6084 Probably never going to happen again, they MAY do something like a 20 year tour as they did a 10 year one for Horizons or possibly a Killing with a Smile tour in 2023 but I doubt it, Horizons would be more likely. The guys will be in their mid 40's by that time and probably not up for it, plus the new stuff makes them way more money. Last time they also only toured it in Australia.

I was there this shit is giving me goose bumps, words can’t describe how much fun this gig was I ended up in just shorts no shoes,socks,shirt and a broken nose and throwing up from exhaustion 🤟🏻😂 I’m pretty sure there was only meant to be like 800 or sumshit and there was like over 1000 from memory I went to every parkway gig I could if any one remembers the “secret” gig in Wollongong that was 🔥🔥 I love the fact they played so many random small or big locations gave everyone the opportunity to see them kill it ✊🏻 Yeah the boys of parkway drive 🤟🏻🔥🔥🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Mate back in the day was awesome you could stage dive there where no rules back then I got a bloody shirt with Winston’s signature on it from the first gig I went to in Wollongong, it was mayhem 🤟🏻 Parkway is the fuking best you definitely should try and see the live it’s hectic 😂🤟🏻🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

If only they could stop sucking and go back to their ways. I mean THIS is what made them who they are, along with the fans that supported them. Now not only are alot of the original fans left in the dust and forgotten, but their music is catering to some bullshit standard so they can occasionally get played on radio stations. I guess greed got the best of them. I dont listen to anything past Atlas. Mainly sticking with KWS & Horizons.

I don't blame them for going for mainstream success, the money is so much better. Just the ability to be played on regular rock stations drives the revenues to much higher levels. I would love to see them do a Horizons tour with some Killing / Deep Blue songs but Winston would probably be done if they kept that style of hardcore up for two decades or more. I'm disappointed I always missed them when they were touring the first few albums but I'm just glad they released them even if they changed their style.
