The song isn't about breaking up with someone. it's about bands that jump on the bandwagon and glorifying suicide and self harm, how they are all so "depressed" and stuff like that when in reality they don't know fuck all about it. The type of emo crowd basically at least what i can tell from the lyrics after reading them....Killing with a Smile is one of my fav albums of all time and probably always will be. Love these guys so much!

I have seen Parkway a lot of times, and what separates them from other bands is how much fun they have on stage. They seriously love what they do and they love being on stage. You can see that from them joking around and smiling and laughing while playing. When i saw them in Utah it was below freezing outside, and they wore board shorts and flip flops and just went crazy. You dont need to act hard, or dress a certain way to play good music and have fun.

Luke is criminally underrated. The camera majorly misses him out on two occasions, one when he's tremolo picking, before Jeff's solo, and second the end tapping solo. Sadly, cos Jeff's branded as lead and Luke as rhythm, the cameras conveniently forget that Luke is shooting guitar melodies on the other end as well.

This is one of those bands I seldom sit down and listen to, but will always have a special place inside my heart because they're such a solid band. They used to be literally the only band I listened to so it's really nostalgic for me to listen to them now. Such amazing work with so much history. If you haven't watched their documentary please watch it!

Parkway Drive is my favorite band. What I really respect is that they actually play their instruments instead of having playback alongside it. You can hear the little mess ups and squeals which is part of having the full "live" experience

Jeff Ling has got to be my favourite guitarist ever. Not only because he writes incredible melodic and brutal riffs, but also because he can run around a stage acting like an ass clown, kicking his mates and jumping like a fairy, and still play every song perfectly in the process.

every fucking time i am in the abyss that my mind becomes i turn to this band and they are the only language my mind can comprehend..the breakdowns symbolize the inferno that i become and with the crushing adversity taunting me..instead of feeling defeated it becomes a torrential down pour of manic determination and the purest joy i have ever known. i feel like these are my friends the smiles they have mean they are with me pouring out their souls. i want everyone to know this purity.
