Guy from Madrid here, Parque Warner always runs 1 train with the exception of August when the park is just so full you can't even fit a needle in there. It is the most american-like park in Europe by far, you're right. You didn't miss anything by not riding Coaster Express, it is rough, painful and just boring. And you probably had jamón serrano with olive oil, consider yourself lucky, they are REALLY expensive outside of Spain. imo it's a nice park but they need to get something big and new, their last additions were just bland and only focused on their family section of the park. Oh well, hope you enjoyed your stay.

I really like this park, it has a good feel about it but at the same time feels like they lack direction, they need to open up their marketing further than locally and turn it into a destination resort like PortAventura, they’d find themselves in a much better position if they did so IMO. For that to happen they’d obviously need to sort their dire park operations out, but all in all it’s a lovely place with some good coasters.

So the comic panels were in English... but the instruction signs were in Spanish. Hmm. Wonder why. Safety maybe lol

This park was actually operated by Six Flags from 2002-2004, and because that management arrangement from Six Flags was terminated, it is now owned by WarnerMedia. So, there is still evidence of Six Flags here.

I think what are you talking about is a ham sandwich very common in Spain, my country, its pretty much raw pig meat that has been conserved for a long time, in spanish called "jamón"

It was probably Iberic ham sandwich. I had them a few times out in Spain so they're quite common there.

I visited the park this past July and rode Coaster Express, and I have to say it really surprised me. I was expecting it to beat me up, but for the most part it didn’t . Yes it had some roughness and jerkiness here and there, but i came off enjoying my ride and it’s one of my favorite woodies. However I wouldn’t ride it twice in a row, but that’s just my personal preference

If I understand correctly this actually was operated by Six Flags back in the day, but they sold it off when they downsized.

Yay I wanted to be in there as I live in Spain, and although my home park is PortAventura, I've been in Parque de Atracciones. It's a very nice park, although the roller coasters are short, and Tarántula, the spinning coaster, is pretty rough. Well, at least they have an Intamin, Tornado!

Six Flags Fiesta Texas had the scooby doo ride too, but that shut down at the beginning of the year. Its being replaced with a pirate themed ride and itll open at midnight of January 1st, 2019 and ill be at the grand opening

I went here by myself in 2016. As somebody who loves DC and Warner Bros. (I had a shitton of Looney Tunes plushes as a kid), this park was heaven. I've also been to Movie World on the Gold Coast (2017) and Warner Bros. World in Germany when I was a kid with my then two-month-old niece.

Hope that one day that wb makes their “OWN” park in California, or atleast in America

Taylor you totally slipped up....you said a vekoma coaster was your favorite coaster here lol. But honestly, was it working well? I know you weren't there for long, but it seems like all USA six flags park's could never figure out how to get those giant vekoma inverted boomerangs to operate properly. Yet all the ones overseas seem fine. Is it just costly to keep up hence the corpse at six flags new england (that should be moved to six flags america, they got the original invertigo but we know those are awful to run like invertigo/stinger).

I've visited the park a few years ago. I adored it, but you really lost nothing by not going on that wooden coaster. It was the only coaster I went on cuz I was like 14 or 15 at the time and I was afraid of inversions. It was the one coaster me and my sister went to with my brother and we all came out of it with legit motion sickness. Super uncomfortable, rough, my sister literally grabbed my head cuz it was bopping around so hard she was afraid I'd hurt myself. Lovely park besides that

Parque Warner is just a Spanish Movie World from Australia

Boo Blasters wasn't originally Scooby Doo themed, they were originally called Ghost Blasters (clearly trying to cash in on Ghostbusters) and they were all converted to the Scooby Doo theming when the Hanna Barbera licencing came in, but when this wasn't renewed they became Boo Blasters on Boo Hill, which is the best name for anything. I went to a Ghost Blasters in Scarborough in the UK when I was like 3 or 4 and this skeletal ghoul jumped out at us and I screamed started crying and hid behind my mum for a bit before she convinced me that it was okay and then I got my revenge on those damn ghosts by blasting the crap out of them.

I think you probably ate a jamón serrano sandwich with olive oil. It's a pretty common meal in Spain. In fact, I eat a lot of jamón serrano. Like, almost everyday (but of course, I pick the cheapest one from the store, because it can be a little pricey lol). Lots of foreign people find jamón serrano weird or gross... And it's totally normal. In Spain, people eat it since they are lil kids, but outside is a really expensive food, not common at all, and also is an acquired taste food, so... It's ok that you don't like it that much. Don't worry.

Some kind of to say what might be, a similarity to Six Flags once Six Flags where owned by Time Warner, yep Warner Bros might acquired two Disney Parks in Japan soon when South Korea puts a Pavilion at Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida and to promote their first attraction about Laincourt Rocks to replace the Japan Pavilion with Holland or Greece. For that what will you see for rollercoaster enthusiast the real Disney Park will be in South Korea it will be with more rollercoasters than Magic Mountain and most of the rides like Cedar Park quality with a Pirates of The Caribbean rollercoaster, and ye my one Star Wars related coaster probably Dark Side related and the rest will be based on the Marvel Universe and probably will be the first Disney Park to have a Hulk related rollercoaster called Hulk Mountain and the best version of Space Mountain with 10 loops putting the original Space Mountain in Orlando, Florida to shame and it will even mop the floor with the Space Mountain in Paris. Yet a Warner Bros style theme park in Japan could also means adding a Disney Park in South Korea dethroning the other Disney Park that is being acquired by Warner Bros in Japan, and also dethroning Cedar Park as the rollercoaster capital of the world. The Disney Korea in Seoul will have about 20 or 30 rollercoaster rides, that also could include Maleficent Mountain next to the Sleep Beauty Castle at Disney Park Korea, yet it will have more Marvel related rollercoasters than the Universal Islands of Adventure Park combined. This all could be related to a South Korea Pavilion at Epcot Center of promoting a Laincourt Rocks related attraction and axing the Japan Pavilion to be replaced by another country only for Warner Bros taking over the Disney Parks in Japan.

You should come to Australia and review Warner Brothers Movie World. Then compare the two parks and how well they represent the WB & DC Comics theme. Then tell us which one is the better WB dedicated Theme park! Also Rio Bravo is a clone of Wild West Falls and the original 1998 Australian version of the logflume ride is slightly better. It's been better kept and maintained than the one in Spain. It's funny for such a successful Film Studio, Warner Brothers has only got 3 Movie Theme Parks in the World. Madrid, Gold Coast Australia & Abu Dhabi and all three are fairly small for movie based theme parks.
