Күн бұрынMikey The Macaw hosted a Parrot Party Play Date where all these cute birds got together, with a free flight day for some and some harnessed free flight training for others.
It was such a great day. We do these at least once a month or so and never end up filming so we are happy we captured this one, these will only get bigger and better the more people realise their birds don’t belong in cages forever

I have a bird too she is a cockatoo. It was her birthday not to long ago and we made her a party..we told people to bring there birds if the have one...and bring a birdy present and it was the cutes bird party. I think that bird parties should be a thing😂

Its great to know Im not the only Happy Nut lol We had P's 15th birthday party at a beautiful lil stables in Queens NY & her sweet 16th at Central Park with a few stops on the way lol Others were mostly at Prospect Park. LUV U GUYS!!!! Lets party sometime!

I totally agree that you shouldn’t clip your birds wings, but I couldn’t help but get nervous when all the birds were flying in the park. I think it’s awesome that you let them do that, and that they come back! It’s just that .5% of me that’s like AHH NOOO COME BACKKKK

Very time the birds take flight my heart in my mouth will they return and of course they do. Just wonderful to see birds flying free and really bonded to their humans in such a natural positive way. So much better than watching a cockatiel hop round a house

Majestic and beautiful birds! So glad to see them free. We have 8 small parrots and they are cage free 24/7, but in our house. We have very high ceilings and a large home, so they get to fly high and as much as they want. However, it would be so much better for them to fly out in nature. It took me about 7 months to train our birds to poop only on their play stands and in the cages (they go into their cages at night to sleep on their own, we didn't have to train them to do that, they just feel safer in the cages at night). I trained them a lot of behaviors so that we don't have to close their cages even if we are not home for a long period of time. I spent a week in the hospital twice in the last 6 months and we never had to close the cages. My husband just came home to give them food and water and they were free and happy on their own. It was very difficult to train them, but it is paying off.

Zooburbia If they got too close they would start biting but they were surprisingly ok with each other. Haha and yea, our neighbours know us as the bird people. They know Mikey’s name but not ours lol

I‘ve seen pictures, where lovebirds are wearing an aviator. I‘m not sure, if you can get them into real freeflight, because they need to be quite sedentary birds.

It‘s not easy to train them together at once. I suggest, you should start with the recall-training, because this is the most essential routine to train.

In another video you said that you had gotten like three TVs due to mikey.. Why don't you make a shelf over the TV that mikey can sit on and make it go far enough out over the TV so mikey can't get it?? Idk, just an idea..

Mikey The Macaw & Friends I bet! My bird would never be able to attend one of these, sadly. He's attack all the other birds. But we're getting finches so I'll be able to train it to sit on my finger! I'm happy about that :>

The small green and red birds are mini macaws You get large or normal(normal macaw is a large macaw) macaws and a smaller version of the macaw called the mini macaw you can search it on google. and hyacinth macaw is the largest parrot in the world search that too😀
