Crystal Sword Fighter is actually a viable build for fighter to counter PDR and melt people is only weak against barbarians and as we see in the video, the Longsword

Pretty sure that last guy was using the crystal sword to counter other high PDR Fighters. If you stack additional magic damage it will absolutely melt people in plate.

Yup. This is precisely why. Not the most optimal strat, but it can be surprisingly effective.

It's glitched on the ground you have to get it in a specific angle

The collision mesh for that area is a little higher than the actual placement of the gem except some small parts of it.

A fighter told me in the dungeons that there is apparently a bug atm with victory strike where it does magical damage. Could be wrong, havent fact checked it yet. That could explain why the fighter at the end was using a crystal sword.

fighters sometimes use crystal sword because it splits its damage between physical and magical, so it does bonus damage against plate armor. its not very good but it's not terrible either
