I really like how he looked at the Master Sword and Fi's sounds activated. She's still there, and she was trying to help him. Like saying "This is the only way. Save yourself Master Link." I really wish she reappeared in Totk :(

This is even darker than Majoras Mask or Twilight Princess, AND I LOVE IT.

And thus Link set out to slay Ganondorf, not for justice, not for the kingdom's peace, but for blood-soaked revenge.

I like how when link realizing the master sword is still there it plays the botw castle theme to remind us and link the power the master sword wielded against the calamity and link when realizing rushes over to see if the master sword would work on his cursed arm

Honestly, Link grabbing Zelda’s hand and having it crumble to pieces is such a cool idea. I feel like that should’ve happened in the base game, but either way, it’s cool

What I like most from this is Link's arm decaying away as soon as he grabs hold of Zelda, a nice touch that I believe would've made the scene stronger if used in TOTK, would've added more weight to the beginning of the story I feel

The slow realization of what Link is about to do combined with the fractic panic of Links's reaction to the cursed hand... I don't think anything has made me feel that amount of intensity before 0_0'

This takes "You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villain" to a whole new level

Thank goodness we got daddy goat with his magical jellybean that allowed Zelda to go back in time and gave Link a badass prosthetic that chased away those nasty demon hands. 😅

Animation: a darker, horror-like timeline. As Zelda is lying on the floor, Link desperately fight the demon's king corruption, that burned his arm down and is now trying to kill him. After a battle against the very limb that belonged to him minutes ago, Hyrule's protector manage to defeat it by picking up his broken sword and cutting his arm off, butchering his own flesh by doing so. But as the bleeding flows uninterrupted, and he runs back to Zelda, Link realise that the tragedy has already happened: the princess corps is lifeless on the ground, empty receptacle without her soul. As he stares at his loved one body, the knight feel his heart and mind shattering, his only comfort being that the bleeding will soon allow them to reunite... Description: I made dis ✨️🧚‍♀️😊❤️😘 (But seriously I enjoyed every second of the animation, truly an amazing work! Would love to see a serie of videos of this darker timeline. Bravo!🔥)

"I made dis." Like it's not one of the coolest and well-animated things I've ever seen. This entire thing just kicked me in the face like a Lynel. This is excellent, and I really like the idea of this AU. And honestly, its a wonder that Zelda's head is still intact. From that height, bodies usually splatter. But the dead fish expression was... ow. That hit hard. Basically, I'm trying to say that this is amazing.

The devastating journey my mind went on for this dark timeline.. There is no hope. There is no hero. There is only revenge. No one can be saved now. There is only the gift of a swift death or an everlasting nightmare. I wish I still wrote! I loved writing the darkest of the dark fanfics when I was a teen and this is so inspiring! Amazing work!!!

The shot of Zelda’s face and Link standing behind her literally gave me chills and made me realize how awesome it would be to have a zelda game where Link truly did fail to save her / keep her alive and is now even more feral and hellbent on destroying whatever caused her death. Welp, to the chamber of resurrection Zelda goes, i mean, we could have one of the firsts objectives of the game to be carrying Zelda's body to the great plateau, which of course would be overrun by Ganondorf's minions, we place her there to rest along the master sword to protect her body from corruption, of course, the game would still revolve around the sages, but this time the sages would serve to empower the chamber so her resurrection doesn't take a hundred years like Link's did, and the master sword would of course be restored after her resurrection as well, somehow.

bro we had the same idea for link's arm getting corrupted and the hand getting an eye personally i like to imagine it being useful and giving him gloom powers but you actually made the idea into an animation props to you for that

No one talking about him bitting his arm to stop it from moving enough so he can grab the MS. Like, this is wild. The sheer amout of force to put into your maw to hold on a wiggly thing, and he must still feel in that arm. Hells, I like this.

I mean, in all honesty, BotW/TotK Link is 100% the type who, if necessary, could and WOULD hack his own arm off mid-fight and not even slow down. The man is not a soldier or a knight, he’s a force of nature with a sword.

Imagine that, a new power coming forth, a new arm. Rauru wasn't there, the gloomspawn hand severed, an enraged link. Malice was one thing to pour forth, but Gannon wasn't ready for links new powers fueled by Wrath.

This is such an amazing concept and I love it, from the choreography to the sudden changes in art styles it all fit wonderfully, u perfectly shown how in an extreme situation like this. The royalty is quick to leave and pure animalistic instinct remains. Well done, seriously!

This was chilling and horrifying and now all I can see is a Link so utterly enraged that even with a decayed Master Sword he goes straight for Ganondorf and annihilates him for what he’s done.

Link is gonna go Berserk GUT Mode, Getting an artificial arm with a laser canon built inside, and swinging a gigantic great sword forged from what's left of his Master Sword.

And this is how Link becomes a supervillain: Lore Accurate Hero of the WIlds(tm) goes berserk and hunts down every version of Ganon/Demise across all time and space after losing his Zelda, destroying entire timelines in the process and forcing a collective of Links and Zeldas to band together to stop him, and he's only truly stopped by the appearance of the true timeline TotK Link and, more importantly, Zelda, reminding him of what he once was and leaving him unable to bear the weight of his rampage. Okay I started writing that as a joke but now I actually wanna see that, that would be SO hardcore

Wow, holy shit, I wish this is what we got. The arm could have eventually become darklink and it would be a quest to find the triforce to wish Zelda back to life.

So, what I understood by this is that in this timeline Zelda never took hold of the stone of time, the one that let her survive, and instead fell to her death. Link unaware of this still went on after leaving the sky islands and since there was no confirmation she was alive he went and looked for her, finding her dead. The devastation weakened link letting the gloom around him take control of Rauru's old arm. So now Link found himself having to accept the reality that he was now armless, and princessless. Really cool animation and by what I understood also very impactful!

Shit... I didn't realize Link's last name was Williams, He's making Ashy Slashy proud. Cutting his arm off, then seeing his girlfriend's corpse? That's 2 for 2, my guy, that's perfection, no Switch. We definitely need a part 2 of Link going to lookout landing to get patched up and inform Purah of the Princess's death

this got me thinking of the whole problem with the timeline rupture caused by OoT. It has the time travel factor in it obviously, but its the fact that multiple things could've happened that would cause yet another massive break in the timeline.

The Hero of Time will not be stopped by one failure. Neither will he stop until it is avenged.

This is even darker than Twilight Princess was and I adore it and the best thing is that it fits too well with the legend of zelda and I long for the day to see an even darker game but if there's one thing I can say for sure it's that this link has suffered Ganondorf He will feel the wrath of the bearer of the hero's soul. Link has always been kind to everyone as much as possible, but taking away the most precious thing from him would awaken the absolute wrath of the best warrior Hyrule ever had.

I thought the same thing: what if when Link reached for Zelda's hand, successfully grabs it, but his withered hand breaks. Great to see other people thought of and animated it ^^

100% LoZ has always been a horror franchise. This is pretty invoking of the hopelessness I feel these games portray, but not in the family friendly format. This is more like a "nothing needs a happy ending" type of vibe and i dig it.
