Starting something new today, an Anno 1800 walkthrough! In this series, I'll be playing through a sandbox game, explaining the mechanics of the game as I go for any of you that may be interested in getting into Anno. This is my first Anno game and I'm loving it. If you're someone who enjoys the production chain type of game, I'd highly recommend it!

I trick I learned in 1602 back in the day and I made this standard practice...always make yer streets double wide paved or not. You would be amazed at how fast things happen...opposed to single lane/track streets and roads. Society builds much faster this way.

Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+R lets you walk around your city in first person.

Thanks! I just bought the game in 2023 and tried the campaign but it was slow and not really interesting enough to grind through but this really helped.

Hey Saxy, I know you just started the anno series but will you also consider playing Tropico 6. I think the people of tropico needs El Presidente Saxy. Also great vid.

I haven't heard of this game but its looks fun cant wait for your other videos on it! Also I think a video like this but with Total War: Three Kingdoms would be cool to see.

I have sadly not been able to find much written documentation about keyboard and mouse controls for this game. It would make my learning this game so much easier if you would bother to spend a little time talking about that. Your narrative style is quite pleasing.

since my ocd is killing me with that placement at 11:38 can u use the tool where u can move stuff at the start it said at ur difficulty u can do it with no cost
