"Cer" could mean two things 1. Abbreviation of Cerita = Story 2. Abbreviation of Cecuba = Cuba-cuba = Try.

It's cer as in fur and not as in hay. It means cuba, like cuba (cer) buat comparison between Texas dengan Marry Brown. A common use of cer is "cer citer, cer citer" (cuba cerita, cuba cerita), meaning, spill the beans already!
