Monty's face has a large white blaze down it. The winning horse had only a tiny bit of white on their face. Checked this on the British Army X account. Am still a bit confused about this.

Thank you, John, for showing us a behind the scenes view of our favourite troopers and their magnificent mounts. As an ex armed forces regular, it warms my heart that there are still plenty of people willing to serve the nation. Although much smaller today than when I joined, the dedication is still the same from these fine young men and women. No different in 1953 when I joined, the enthusiasm was palpable, as it is today. These sorts of traditions must carry on. You see the Life Guards, The Blues and Royals out and about in London wearing their fine regalia. It’s wonderful to see the ‘behind the scenes’ at all the hard physical work beforehand that goes into what you see Also the making of the boots and the body armour worn. Hi, you sead the head gear for the horse's ,is a bridle. THE trooper work SO hard ,I understand HOW hard IT IS. As I WAS a eventing groom ,we used to leave to go to shows at 6am .some week's. There all working togetherSO hard .Take care and all the best. 😊😊😊😊😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
