Hi brother I have also recently moved to Canada from Gurgaon and have following your channel from India. Dont buy an old car. Go for new one as it will be cheaper overall. When i bought my car in canada, everybody suggested me to go for old one. When i did my homework as banker, i decided to buy new car and now i am much more happy.

Hello paaji.. thanks so much for the input. Actually going for a new car will be very much unaffordable for us as we don't have enough cash to pay full and if we go to EMIs that's $500 at least at min 10% with $400 just for insurance. I don't have that savings at the moment and this will be a luxury investment. So that's why I'm stuck

You are still in a better position in terms of options you have for car buying....In Saskatchewan car market has gone crazy...people are selling grandpa's car at current market rate....

Hello from Germany. I recommend getting a decent "Hyundai" or "Honda", they are very low maintenance and the repairs are very cheap compared to American brands. Good luck, hope you find a car that suits you well :)

As is means, it doesn't matter if the car is broken or repaired. The seller is selling it irrespective. You'll need to get a safety check done, which is mandatory to drive the car, that'll cost an additional $99 to $399 depending on mechanic and any additional cost for repairs. Most scammers sell broken cars or modify the kms to sell it higher, or the car needs serious repairs and can be stolen too. As a newcomer, and if it's your first car, I'll recommend getting from a dealership with safety, even though it'll cost more, but unless you are a car repair expert, why risk it?

Yaar, unfortunately, everyone is a scammer here🥲... there are more scams than people here. So dealer you need to have a good look at and then finalize based on experience and possible reference. I researched for months and found 2 people who were decent.

16 is the minimum age to drive in Canada. It can vary based on Province. This is for a G2 license.
