I am from a fortunate generation that coincided with the prime singing period of the divine voice called Lata Mangeshkar. I always chided my children that come what may their generation shall always be poorer for not having a voice even remotely comparable to Lataji. I found I was wrong (pleasantly) the moment I heard Vibhavari Apte the first time. I fervently hope that there are music directors now who can really create musical magic with her voice the way Lataji's voice created with music director's of the 50's, 60', and the 70's.

Phenomenal performance! Have listened to Lataji for 80 years. Smt, Vibhavariji is not Lataji, also nothing short of Lataji's genius. Gentle, mellow, humble demeanor of a modern day Lata!!! 🙏🙏🙏🕉🕉🕉
