First one that was actually in theaters here .. Went with my best mate.. we both lost our shite as well. Animation was INSANE, the POV part was INSANE, the story finally made broly canon... It was everything we wanted for way too many years. Also.. the best parts seriously were the transformations... Instead of just gooing "Wraa" and they're super saiyan, it went balls to the wall.. It made super saiyan feel like something cool again instead of a small little thing everyone can do

A good way to describe Super Saiyan Blue would be, that they somehow found a way to stack Super Saiyan ONTO Super Saiyan God. Think of Super Saiyan God like a base form, only a _"divine"_ base form. From there, they pretty much just went "devine Super Saiyan", of the sorts.

One of the things I’ve seen people acknowledge here and there: the Stardust Breaker essentially takes all of the evil in someone and echoes it with ‘good’ energy. The fact that it didn’t kill Broly just showed the characters in the movie that he wasn’t a villain, merely scared and misguided.

I saw this in theatres with my ex-fiancee. It was amazing, the fans went wild while she looked at me like i was crazy, nevertheless she became a fan around the end. Dragon ball, oh dragon ball! man it's so cool seeing new people react to this. I met my girlfriend because of Dbz, during intermission of my girlfriend on the runway she would literally read the manga lol. This show is so damn special, it touches everyone in a special way. I traveled to so many places, the middle east has an arabic dub, france has a french dub, i can go on. No matter where you go it just touches everyone. In my theater, there was an old disabled man that had been watching dragon ball since the 80's. My theater was packed, with all kinds of people, and families. Such a nostalgic reaction here dude, great channel !

I was a hater and now i play the games, watched the movies and read the manga. Broly in now one of my all time favorites and its thanks to this movie.

It's a bit of a shame that this very fun Movie Reaction is to this day still the only Dragon Ball content on this channel.

Turning the Demonic Saiyan Hulk into a real character while still setting up his fight with Goku and Vegeta, all using simple story mechanics and background tweaks, ended up being hot damn brilliant. Not to mention if they really wanted to do some kind of "shadow self" storyline with Broly as part of his later character development, sadistic edgelord original Legendary Super Saiyan Broly can easily be that for him, whether literally played straight or adapted into another character that serves as a mirror to him. I think that idea would actually satisfy both those who like OG Broly and don't mind seeing him again as well as those who hate the old version and want canon Broly to be established as his superior.

Anyone who watched that Super Dragon Ball Heroes series (basically non-canon animated fan-fantasy) will have noticed that SOME episodes, only a few, were animated by the same guy or people that did this new Broly movie. People even dropped a name and wondered, rightfully, why every episode of that series, as well as the Super series, wasn't animated by those same people, exactly because Super's animation has been pathetically lacking and only got good towards the end, (probably not) coincidentally when Goku first used the imperfect Ultra Instinct, the quality of the animation, the colors, the effects...etc. taking a noticeable jump then. This animation, the first-person perspective with Broly, the switch to game-like 3D style, when Gogeta does a Kamehameha and the zoom-in and out from his eyes...etc. it all looks FANTASTIC. If Super had looked like this from the very beginning it would have been a lot more memorable.

Seeing this in theaters, full of fans like Luke, was SO MUCH FUN! Great movie!!

Dragon ball super is so good it can turn a hater to a fan

A distinction between ssj 1 and 2, 2 has extremely spiky hair and electric arcs due to the crazy amount of power being released from it. So no, throughout this fight nobody actually went ssj2. Also, as said by Toriyama before, the fight was made as “fluff”, as the outcome was pretty obviously going to be Gogeta’s victory, but to make it more exciting and not seem so one-sided a huge display of power and skills were shown. If it were actual reality though, Gogeta would have finished the battle way faster. One way to understand it better is if you thought Broly stood a chance against Gogeta at the end. If not, it means the animators did their job right because it was not supposed to be close at all, and it just looked that way but didn’t feel that way.

Seeing the pure joy in the fans face(first time here btw) almost brought me to tears man I love Dragon Ball so much and can relate 1000%

This is undoubtedly what made me a DB fan. On my first viewing I was like the dude on the left, apart from I was shaking at the same time. Now I rewatch this movie and get just as gassed as the right dude. DBS Broly is peak Dragon Ball. We will NEVER get better than this

I wasn't ever into anime (because on tv it would only come up with the bad ones), so that held me back from the good stuff. One day, my friends were talking about this show One Piece, so I found it on Netflix, realising it was an anime, but watched it any ways. I really enjoyed it, so eventually, I thought 'Ok, since I like One Piece, why don't I just try Dragon Ball', so I put on Dragon Ball Super Broly, and I fricken' loved it! I watched it mutiple times and it single handedly, turned me into a Dragon Ball lover, if I watched any over Dragon Ball content, I am not sure if I would be into the series. The movie, unknowingly answers, most of the questions about the series that you do not know if you are a beginner. Totally recommend it to newcomers of the franchise if your curious.

Being a lifelong fan hits way different than being a newer fan, just because you understand just how ridiculous it is that Broly just shows up, as a Saiyan, and makes Vegeta and Goku look like he's fighting children. The movie was siiiick, can't wait for the next saga with Moro to be animated.

Broly = Broccoli, and now Broly ends here as basically a good guy now instead of an out of control beast till his death.

fun fact vegeta was ssg fighting broly. broly powered up twice before fighting goku after vegeta. vegeta asked for a senzu bean yet broly powers up twice the last time before fighting goku he powered up increasing his size. muscle and speed. and goku started in his base :) this is why the official plot said vegeta was trying to catch up to goku
