I just had to subscribe! I love the simple way you explained everything. Kudos. My questions are: If I've not sorted my accommodation but I'd be staying with a cousin, should I mention that? Considering the fact that, that was not what I filled while filling the visa application form. 2. I would be coming with some food stuffs like Gari,ponmo and beans; Should I answer "Yes" if asked "do you have anything to declare"? Thank you

Thanks very much. With accommodation, Yes you can mention you will be with your cousin pending you sort your accommodation and if you are just staying with your cousin so he or she could take you to your place, then you could mention that as well. Don't forget, keep answer very short and only reply when asked, don't say too much. 2. Yes, you can bring in foodstuff, and if asked, then you have nothing to declare except you are coming with contraband.If you are bringing beans, then please make sure it is free of weevils. Thanks for the info When you go with your spouse, do you submit the passports together or individually? Also does one of you answer the questions for both or questions are answered individually as spouse?

Hi, they would ask if you are together, and then they would ask for both passports. Either one of you could be asked, and one person is fine to tall except you are asked individually.

I came to UK on a spousal visa. I was only asked how my fight was when i got to immigration. I met a 'couple' on the flight who were behind me. They were asked so much questions. I think certain visas attract lots of questions due to the lies fakery involved. (Skilled worker, student visa, dependent visa)

Hi, Yes you can honestly say you are here as a tourist and to visit some places and you could mention a few places. For example, I am here on a tourist visa, and I will be exploring some beautiful places in London or Scotland, l will really like to see the famous London Bridge, etc.

I think you will be fine regardless of how long you've been married for. It will be good to have proof of your relationship or marriage if asked.

Hey .I'm from India...and I just want to know that as I got the 6 months visitor visa on behalf of my conference but visa issue me after my conference date so can I travel to UK as tourist to meet my sister who is coming as student 6 month before?

Hi, it depends on the visa rule that applies to your visa. If it multiple entries visa, you can come as many times as you want within the 6 month, and if it is single entry then you can only use it once. Also with tourist visa granted based on conference it isn't advisable to stay in UK for 6 months. Also you may be asked this at the airport, so just prepare to answer this. All the best

Hi, you're welcome. Yes, since he is your dependent, then he will be expected to work here as he has right to. So, if asked, answer honestly. You, as a student, can't do more than 20 hours when school is in session. Try not to say too much. All the best ❤️

Hi, you don't necessarily have to be married to prove you are in a relationship. Picture proofs, especially you have taken years or months ago, family gathering pics, proof of living in the same address, you could screenshot messages that are date stamped, and many more.

Hi, an undergraduate cannot have dependent. You can only apply as dependent if your partner is a postgraduate student.

Please I have a concern your content is very resourceful. Iam coming to join my wife she flew in to the UK in a week ago and I'm joining her. What is battling me is her accommodation was for her alone so in my visa application form I was asked where I am going to stay I stated the address of my relative. So my question is how do I answer the question about where I'm going to stay? Since I'm joining my wife temporarily I will be staying with my uncle is it good to say this.

Hi, I feel if you are asked, you should mention you will be staying with your wife unless if she is staying in student accommodation or hotel. Don't say too much. You don't have to say address if you're not asked. I hope this helps. All the best

You answer the question exactly and truthfully. "Where are you going to stay?" means what you being asked. Give them the address of where you are going to stay after leaving the airport. If it's a hotel give them the name and address. If it's the house of a friend give them the name and address. If it's with your wife tell them where she is and her address. It's not a trick question but if you don't tell the truth you may find yourself in trouble

You're welcome. Yes you can mention where you will be pending you sort your accommodation. can dependent fly to uk before main applicant who is on student visa

Hi, ideally the main applicant who is Student has come either come with a dependent or come before dependent. If you have a very valid reason and proof to back it up when asked, then it is ok. But please don't risk coming without the main applicant being here first. Thanks and please like and subscribe.
