Part 2: Driving Remote Roads to River Rock Off-Road Park in Georgia! - 2013 Ultimate Adventure Week

As the Ultimate Adventure 2013 continues on leg two, the group of 25 seasoned rigs continue the week-long trek from Alabama while enjoying the locals sights with stops at Auto City Salvage and Cheaha State Park- the highest point in Alabama. The group winds its way on remote dirt roads until reaching Georgia on as many back routes as possible. Setting up camp in the rain at River Rock in Georgia, the group embraced the true spirit of UA facing the elements, vehicle repairs and maintenance before spending their first night outdoors. Starting the next day at River Rock, (only open by special invite) the group faced challenges and obstacles in red clay, sand, boulders and various terrain, with mixed results but all reinforcing the camaraderie building in the group.

Erik Miller races that Grand Cherokee in the stock class in King of the Hammers. It has a 5.9L engine and Clayton long arm suspension. The axles are Spidertrax Spider9s that let him beat on it without worrying about breaking anything.

Watch the video of them making it, it's got a 6.7 Powerstroke. Reliable and powerful yes, but I too figured they get a gas just for weight reasons...sick truck though

Synthetic line doesn't store energy so when it snaps it falls instead of whipping towards vehicles and people potentially killing someone its why steel cable isn't allowed in comp anymore. And most people claim synthetic is stronger also.

You first comment I replied to said they are modded and that's why they broke. I own a 4wd pickup and an atv and a Camaro thank you very much. I love off-roading and driving in the sand is hardly a turf off-roading experience to say the least. Jeep is an SUV I know what it is. Your comment about them modding there vehicles was very un pro off-roader. I have been in the sand the mud and in the rocks I know what it takes

just like i said...the diesel is just to heavy and slow to put on a good show ... its winching itself through all the obstacles...the 6.2 weighs like 700 lbs less, revs more than twice as high for that self cleaning tread to work and its normally aspirated for instant throttle response...someone would have to do alot of convicing to me at the dealer to pay $8315 more a motor i think is more at home pulling heavy loads

You just answered your own question, just need to involve simple mathematics. So if in a couple days its going to be the 4th, then it was filmmed on the 2nd.
