Great content. I tend to make sure to thank the people for their time. It is super important to let people know how valuable their time with us as BAs can be. I found when I do workshop structures, the flow tends to go so much faster so I make sure they know that. Thank you!

Hi Daba, thanks for watching. In the BA world we tend to use the term workshop more than focus group. The terms could be interchangeable, but the difference really lies with the intended outcome. In my experience workshops for us normally results in clarified specific requirements for new products, processes or features. Focus groups tend to result in more qualitative data to better understand a stakeholder's opinion on existing products processes or features. Depends on how your organization uses these terms.
