Course Overview:
This two-part webinar series will reveal key points of the last 30 years of implant dentistry. By attending this course, participants should be able to obtain a solid foundation of knowledge that can aid and empower them to make appropriate decisions in treating patients. In this series, participants will learn a 4-step process for pre-surgical treatment planning to help provide predictable results. Additionally, this course will highlight the steps and considerations in planning and completing a Definitive Prosthesis, and the advantages and disadvantages of different restorative options.
PART 1: Restorative Considerations
At the end of this course, attendees should be able to:
• Comprehend basic biomechanics and common prosthetic components
• Understand concepts for immediate loading, early loading and delayed loading
• Understand what treatment phases and protocols are needed for common implant restorations
• Learn about the fundamental concepts for patient selection and treatment planning
