Love your envelope tutorial. Very pretty papers. I usually catch up on the TV shows I've taped during the past weeks. I like to watch a movie I've seen before so I only have to listen and not have my eyes on it.

OMG! You must be my soul sister! All those shows I love & watch. Lately I have not had the TV on. Quiet. I have been concentrating more, & it works! For some reason I don’t want any distractions! This is looking fabulous! I love it! I have some Stamperia papers. I love watching everything, from gluing to inking....all of it! Thanks your video is very good. Your instructions are great!

To your question, I watch True Crime YT videos if I’m just fussy cutting or gathering pages for my journal, and since I’m pretty new at journaling, I just watch a video and nothing else, so I’m not distracted so I can learn. Oh my gosh Dawn, I didn’t even realize you put the pocket on the wrong page. Good to know you make mistakes too. Please keep them all in. Shows you’re human like us. 😂❤ I’m loving this make. I'm a big Outlander fan. I can put it on and work and not miss anything plus I love Sam Heughan ..I'm also a big fan of crime drama but I have to pay attention lol

I find more and more that I put sticky notes on certain pages to keep me on track. It is soothing to watch another crafter. Good tip about inking the spot behind the button. I usually have country music on my radio when crafting.

Boo boos make us real and I think even more relatable! For the most part I craft along with my favourite crafters to learn their techniques and achieve a similar look. As far as sports go I follow our local Jr A Ice hockey team, I think live sports are more interesting. I also have 2 grandsons playing hockey and LOVE to watch their games while visiting their families.

Thanks so much for being understanding. I think sometimes we expect too much from the crafters we watch and forget they are real people just like us. With distractions, and worries, etc. I love watching hockey. American football, hockey, and rugby. Apparently I like full contact sports. 😁 how fun that your grandsons play hockey! That's awesome!

I am from uk and also love Downton Abby. I also loved the movie which has now been released to TV. I don’t watch TV whilst in my craft room but I do have local radio on. As background noise. Love the envelope journal, I will make a bunch of these for Christmas gifts. TYFS.X

I love Crime Dramas. I took a lot of classes in school. I am on season 5 of Downton Abby. I loved Outlander and will binge watch it again till season 5 Aires in February.

absolutely beautiful, and the way you do your tutorials is fantastic, especially too with the editing, so we don't have to 'watch glue dry' 50 times! Pre-selection of gorgeous coordinating papers too. Yes, detail is good but, unless absolute beginners with no crafting, paper or glue knowledge, we only need to know how to cut and glue particular things once or twice - and when someone asked for more, you clarified that process. So clear a process .... wonderful teacher ..... I love your mistakes and solutions too!! You're human and helps us be ok about our own mistakes too :) - gosh i have had a few delays here, but this is the 2nd time I've watched this part - my cat keeps jumping up and changing the channel! Lol. looking for part 3 now! ........ oh, and my answer to your question is identical to yours :)

I am a Renovation nut and Food Network nut - those you can hear and not have to watch each step. I also spend far too much time on journal videos hoping I will suddenly absorb the creative gifts I see here daily . . . so far not yet! Lol! But I keep coming back and have supplies out the kazoo! I LOVE football, we live in Missouri so we're huge CHIEFS fans! I'm a new subbie, love your videos..I'm also a crime show junkie, I've watched Criminal Minds from the beginning, this year is the last season unfortunately. Love all of the NCIS shows, SWAT with Shemar Moore who used to be on Criminal Minds, but my favorite show is The Blacklist!

I have just recently found your channel and I really enjoy your process. I like Mixed Media projects but I am thinking of doing this journal for a friends birthday. Your question about whey we watch. We don’t have TV - we have a. tV but we don’t have cable. I watch KZfaq crafty-arty videos, We do have Amazon Prime and I watch Crime Videos and I love British Crime videos. Numbers is one of my favorites as well as Criminal minds, Cold Squad. So many. I am rewatching Bones and I just finished up Plain Sight again. The British ones I like are Midsomer Murders, Vera, Endeavor and Inspector Morse. Agatha Christie’s, Jane Marples and Peroit, DCI Banks,

Dawn put glue on the envelope when you want to keep the flaps open. (instead of on the cardstock) It looked like you had cut it to the right size and double checked it. Also alot of crafters lately are going away from fabri tac and the 3-2-1 glues because of the fumes. The glues are highly flammable and you should only be using them in a well ventilated area and most craft rooms aren't. FYI this is adorable I am going to make one but will follow your suggestion and make a template cause I think like you I'll make more than one. I thought cute Christmas ones for neighbors would be a nice gift. We live in a double culdesac and are the youngest here most neighbors are in their 80's and would love this as a gift. Thanks for the tutorial......

I love envelope projects! This one is so clever and fun. I will definitely be making one or more! And never feel bad about making a mistake on camera. For me, they are extremely helpful so that I can make a note about a potentially tricky part of a project and I can see how such a mistake is salvaged. Very helpful! I realize I’m late in answering your question about what we watch in our craft room, but I’ll let you know that I enjoy watching more KZfaq crafting videos!! And BTW, I’m a fellow Hoosier!!!

If you like British tv & crime dramas, I suggest Midsummer Murders (lots of episodes!), Vera and Foyle’s War. I can’t remember if they’re on prime or not, but they often show up on Netflix or. Britbox/prime. I’m also addicted to true crime shows which I watch on Investigation Discovery/prime.

LOVE Criminal Minds and Bones. I usually craft with my sisters and the one's house we actually craft at can't do anything without music playing. I prefer to chat with them w/o all that "extra noise" in the background. Sometimes it's WAY too loud and it makes it hard to hear all the talking going on. Plus it's aggravating if the music isn't what you like, you know? And certain music gives me a headache. Thanks for the tutorial. Just ordered my envelopes and can't wait to try it!

Hello Dawn, I am a new subbie. I wasn't around for the last question but I do LOVE my New England Patriots even though I live in NY. While I'm crafting I do the same as you, I watch criminal shows and lawyer shows. NCIS, Criminal Minds, Numbers, Bones, Crossing Jordan just to mention a few. I believe I have watched all the episodes for all of them BUT I don't mind watching them over.

I love British crime dramas too but lately I've been hooked on some from Acorn from Australia, New Zealand and the Scandinavian area

My favourite crime drama from here in England was Cracker , Robbie Caltrain ( plays Hagrid in Harry Potter ) it’s brilliant, ❤️❤️

Love your sense of humor. And i love dogs 🐕. Thanks again for your tutorial. I’m going to try to make one. I listen to Christian radio while crafting. I don’t have a tv in my basement where i craft. When not crafting i love to watch Doc Martin on acorn. Also like Father Brown and Grantchester. Think that’s how to spell it🤷‍♀️
