Measurements: The chess board takes 600ml of resin. The chess pieces take roughly 120ml of resin, per set. (You have to make 2 sets to complete the game board.) I sincerely hope you all have enjoyed this weeks videos. I had so much fun making these pieces, and seeing how well they came out was seriously cool. Thank you so much for watching!

Just watched Parts 1 and 2. Fascinating, I loved your commentary, all very clear and we could share your excitement and the beautiful chess set emerged and took shape. The finished make was spectacular, a really stunning piece of art. Well done. I look forward to watching other makes.

I would like to do this, specifically with chess pieces but fancier style, for a chess type game i invented ( no bishop, 4 rooks, king, queen, 18 pawns and 12 knights each player played on a board more similarto the game Go and can be played by up to 4 people), not as complicated as it sounds when i write it. I have 0 experience with resin casting. If I am going to paint the pieces after, would I need a specific type of resin?

I gave a 👍 because your craft is nice but showing it in any light but it's Lighting is Corny. Be proud of yourself and Your Work. Turn the lights up & reveal IN ITS TRUE LIGHTING.

So true! Lol! This was posted before I invested in a good lighting set up.
