This time on WABI CHANNEL, we continue from the atelier of Mr. Masahiko Kimura, a master bonsai artist in the bonsai community.
In this time, Mr. Kimura has been working on a Japanese white pine tree that we acquired for 1,000 JPY.
What kind of changes will Mr. Kimura, who is said to have the hands of deity, make to a bonsai that is so familiar to us?

すっかり暮れてしまった国内の盆栽界　貴重なこの技術は木村正彦氏に師事した方々により日本のどこかで守られ受け継がれていってほしいと願っております。最近は残念ながら根張り　美しい立ち上がり　長短のある柔らかな枝の弾みなどを重視追及する方々は少なくなってしまいました。

I’ve been working with my procumbens Nana tree for 35 years. It has a dragon shape… We name it Little Red Dragon ( red bark)… Does the master have any procumbens Nana trees in his garden? Best,John
