"The Hateful Eight" is a western mystery film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino set in post-Civil War Wyoming. The story follows a bounty hunter named John Ruth as he transports a dangerous fugitive, Daisy Domergue to the town of Red Rock to collect a bounty. Along the way, they encounter a group of strangers seeking refuge from a blizzard at Minnie's Haberdashery. As tensions rise and suspicions grow, the characters grapple with their own motives and dark pasts, leading to a violent and unpredictable climax.

I find most of Quinton films to be like that. He really is an auteur, getting the best performances out of the actors he works with….which also work closely with him, which is why you see so much returning casts in his movies, they have built a rapport

I will always love how manix and warren became Allies in the end. Even shedding their colors from past hatred, Manix’ being the general’s grey coat and warren’s being his Calvary uniform, and wearing similar clothing covered in their own blood. Hell, manix has a blood stain right where where warren is wearing a read tie. Knowing how detailed oriented Tarantino is I’m sure that was in purpose.

I'd also like to add there's a theory about Mannix (The sheriff) the theory is he was setup by his siblings to go to Red Rock to be announced the new sheriff. His siblings sent the letter and when he got to Red Rock they were going to shoot him from a distance

Walton goggins absolutely killed this role and played off Samuel and kurts characters so well. One of the prime examples of fully committing to the role and getting praise instead of backlash. Quinton writes characters more than stories so this is the most important part of selling it.

My brain broke so hard when i first watched this movie that it took me a while to truly appreciate it. Tarantino is ahead of his time thats one of his few movies released during my older lifetime and i think it takes even his fans a minute to comprehend his batshit insanity lol
