Great design and craftsmanship! It would be great to see you actually make an engine and boat step by step.

@iwishihadpets Yes, it will work. As speed and thrust is low a generous sized rudder would be best.

how much heat IS REQUIRED to get the boats to move at all? reason i ask is i was thinking of creating a boat that was powered by a certain plant with root temperatures sometimes reaching 140F, and think it would be pretty cool to have a lil putt putt boat that moved entirely off the heat of said plant

@jacob12marcelo Yes. They all have tethers to keep them on course in a circle. Did you think they were being towed? They are not.

@Xxfades321xX Great idea but you will need a hotter plant. The water needs to boil at a minimum 212F. Thanks for watching.

hi, you must charge the boiler whit water and light the candle, it's true? and the boat runs continuously or occasionally need to reload the boiler? thanks a lot!!!

@PuttPutt4video thx for the reply! is 212 the minumum to WORK AT ALL? honestly i don't care too much if it moves quickly or makes noise, and really i could just plant the plant in a grow bed for a heater but even moving very slowly would be good enough for me:)

About the same as in this video except in Maud the clamp rings were cut from solid aluminum sheet. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hLSbjaR008eog4U.html

You can paste a rubber pad on top of the diaphragm to damping the sound.

Sou do Brasil. Boa tarde.

Syncopated! How interesting.

@Xxfades321xX The water has to boil to make steam or the pulsing action won't happen and the boat will not move. When the steam condenses a vacuum is created and the cycle then repeats. Maybe you can use your heat to generate electricity. You may google this idea.

You must live at a very high altitude, or, you are just messing with my head. Here at sea level water boils at 212F and 100C. Good luck with your project anyhow.

"Very nice but you do not say how they are made or subtitled in Spanish. My interest is to know how factories thanks" Sorry I do not speak Spanish and Google translate does not make your question clear. I make the boats. No factories. How to videos are on my channel.
