Excuse my pronunciation of Nilotiqa😅
I am pro supporting Proudly South African Brands🇿🇦
If there are any other South African brands that you’ve tried that were amazing please comment and recommend them, if you’ve also used any of the products I spoke about or any other products from the same brands please share you experiences. The aim of this is to be honest about wether the product worked for me or not and some of you my have different opinions. Being a natural does not have to be expensive and not all products are necessary, let’s help each other scale it down and save money. Also a product being imported does not make it better than a South African Brand so let’s try our locally produced products and find what works ❤️🇿🇦

I love the hairstyle, please show us how you did it. Thank you for the reviews and your honesty. I've used the Ruutos conditioner & oil before, it's amazing but ya tura man! Nilotiqa, I think they say it's pronounced Nile-Oh-Tea-Car or something like that. It's on my list of to try, especially the butter & the detangling what what. Native child I currently use their Castor oil & whipped shea butter. I love them, they work for me & they ar every affordable.

I’ll do a quick video soon to show you it’s very easy and quick😇 Financially I don’t think Ruutos is necessary there are other brands that can do the work at a lower price. The Nilotiqa oil was okay, but that butter smells amazing, your hair is still short and I’d advise that you avoid Shampooing it too much, wash with conditioner or with a Cowash, you don’t really need a detangler right now rather get a good leave- in conditioner. Thanks for the Native Child product feedback 💛

I started off my natural hair journey with Ruutos, their products are amazing but expensive. I then tried out Nativechild, but I was not pleased after seeing so many positive reviews. I had high expectations. I must say the castor oil is the best, I continue ordering their products for my daughter though. I am currently an Afrobotanics junky, I found love in their products. I still want to try out their Hempseed range and I also want to try out Nilotiqa. I love your sense of humour and your energy. I immediately hit the subscribe button because I fell Inlove with your passion and your energy :)

Wow what a thorough comment, I love it 😇 Thank you for joining the community and subscribing, I promise to continue delivering more helpful and useful content 😊 I agree the native child castor oil is lovely, the rest of their products were not for me, hows your daughters hair? I have never tried Afrobotanics I will give them a try when I’m back in SA and can buy them, Nilotiqa is affordable and good but I don’t know if I’ll be buying their products again because it wasn’t amazing just okay, I’ll try their conditioner because I love conditioners I don’t use shampoo. Thank you Nomaxabiso😇

Landed here ka chance.. loving your videos! Native Child Castor Oil, good! Their shampoo and conditioner - no no no. Just felt like crying after wash day. The other product my hair LOVES is the Honey and Moisture creme, but I hate the smell 😭😭😭. Trying to find an alternative that my hair will love 😔

Hey Tumi, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I’ve never tried their honey moisture creme but a replacement that smells good and works well could be the Sheamoisture curl smoothie it’s more pricey but works.

Thanks for the video sis I really enjoyed it, you gorgeous🤗. Thats one thing I don't understand...I so badly wanna support local businesses but I use silicone, sulfate, paraben, phthalate, mineral oil and artificial fragrance free products and its hard to find in SA and those that are available made in SA are more expensive or the same price range as your shea mositure, not your mother"s naturals, cantu's etc... Which I struggle to understand why.😐

Thank you Silver 🤗✨ There are other local products that I believe are free of all those chemicals and minerals but like you said finding them is a problem and some are more expensive. I’ll share reviews if I get a hold of any. Thanks for your comment and watching, Love your crown 👸🏽✨

Your video is really helpful. I really love Ruutos, their leave-in conditioner and oil helped my hairline but like you said....PRICE🥺 I was also contemplating mixing different SA products because I like Afrobotanics. After your video I realise that one must pick and choose what works for them unapologetically.
@chatwithtisa

I like your conclusion that you must pick and choose what works for you unapologetically, because if you don’t you’ll waste money all in the name of supporting a brand. Our SA brands have good products but you don’t have to be brand loyal. I’ll be creative an update video my hair routine soon. Thanks for your comment 😊

The native child castor oil and whipped shea butter works for me as well, i like it .. but the leave in cream,coconut oil and avocado oil dries my hair .. shampoo and conditioner are not that bad.. i feel like my hair loves thick products It's "NILOTHIKHA" nik vulela hi xitsonga na mina ni mutsonga a Limpopo 😀

Didn’t know SA had so many hair products. Never heard about it here in Mozambique 🇲🇿 they sell American and Brazilian products for natural hair.

I started using Cantu leave-in conditioner and I must say it works wonders for me (and for my sister and mom too lol).. I was wondering, have you ever tried it and how did it go? P.S I've only ever tried the leave-in conditioner coz it's all I can afford
@chatwithtisa
@chatwithtisa 3 жыл бұрын
These products are expensive, honest reviews are helpful in that they could save someone money, thanks for sharing your experience with Cantu products😊 I’ve used about 4 of their products and I wasn’t pleased, their Leave-in conditioner didn’t work well for me but I know people that it had worked for and those that second my experience, it left a white residue and my hair didn’t feel that great. Their curl pudding smells nice but wasn’t great either, I must add their products so last a while before having to buy again but I only bought once, I ended up giving them away. All you need as a Natural is Shampoo, leave-in conditioner, Sheabutter and hair butter that’s it all the other stuff is just brands trying to make money 🙃

Being a natural doesn’t have to be expensive, their hair salon was also very pricey 🙃

I agree, it doesn’t have to be expensive. I’ve been to their hair salon as well that when I bought their products, I was there to get my hair done but it was packed and I would have needed to wait for a long time so I opted to buying the products and doing everything myself at home, the prices were high.
