Savitri Devi claimed that the Golden Age, Silver Age, and Bronze Age were progressively worse, and yet the Bronze Age gave us Chris Claremont's X-Men and Alan Moore's Swamp Thing so clearly she was full of shit

I gotta agree with her about The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's stylistically amazing, but the actual plot is pretty weak. I also think, however, that Kingdom Hearts absolutely needed to include the part where the US government shoots down Jack Skellington.

That whole gold to silver to bronze age thing was ripped from the ancient Greek writer Hesiod. It's called the Ages of Man, and it was basically a cranky old guy complaining that "kids these days are taking us farther from our heroic past when we were great and closer to the gods with all their laziness, blasphemy, and hip hop music." Considering how much she loved Greek mythology and how syncretistic she was with her beliefs, I'm certain she read Hesiod and molded his beliefs into her own.

It's also quite reminiscent of the Hindu wheel of time. And modern goons use it as a template for the "weak men bring about bad times, bad times bring about strong men, strong men bring about good times" crap, which then gets retweeted by Joe Rogan...

I believe she thought Hitler was the Kalki Avatar, who is the last incarnation of Vishnu during the Kali Yuga, which is the age, not the incarnation.

That would make sense, especially since Kalki as a figure was pretty much created as part of a similar reactionary impulse against the Muslim conquests of the 11th-12th centuries.
