This look is meant to be. I finally found a hair style that fits who I am. I'm biracial so having both loose hair with dreads combined with all the fun hair jewels is so Goddess mode!

I recently took mine out because I'm looking for a job and I felt like there's a lot of prejudice against them here in Switzerland. I almost cried when I was undoing them 😢 watching this video and looking at how pretty your dreadlocks are makes me miss my dreads! ✨💕✨

You could just get a wig and wear it. Blend your loose hair with the wig so it looks more natural. No need to have taken out the dreads

If you ever wish to have them again, wearing a headcovering like a scarf, beanie ect works very well. I have friends who color their hair which isn’t allowed in the workplace so they wear a scarf.

I love dollylocks! I also use the nag champa shampoo😊 and the patchouli locking spray smells sooo good. I had partial dreads once before and it was a disaster after a few months. However I’m 7 months into my second go around and it’s going much better. Buutt essentially I would like the rest of it dreaded to eliminate this whole separating anxiety but haven’t had the time.

You as your locs are absolutely beautiful! I have done my dreads for the second time now and I am so happy to be starting my journey again. You were one of my inspirations to finally start the dreadlocks journey again :) I was wondering if you could do a video about frizzy, young, messy dreads. Some helpful tips on how to tame the frizz with young dreads but healthy ways (gels or sprays with palm rolling), how often to keep separating the roots. Your dreads are my goals as they look so great!! I also left the front of my hair undreaded :) I know putting young dreads in a pony tail isn't the best too - so any tips on just being happy with young dreads to help through the stages as they mature would be awesome!

I switched to an all natural no paraben no sulfate shampoo (tropiclean berry and coconut) when I had my first partial dreads, I took them out because I wanted to retry and make them better, first time is learning right? But I’ve noticed since using this shampoo my hair is much fuller and has natural volume so hopefully it will help my future partial dreads again. The conditioner I use is beauty and planet which is amazing as well, I didn’t have a conditioner at the time and was very concerned about my non dreaded hair. Awesome tips!

I have partial dreads without even really trying. I had all my hair twisted up 3 years ago and just let it do it's thing some came undone at the hairline edges and most of them stayed but it makes for an awesome look so I just never bothered with a retwist.

No, I don't think the oil molds at all..especially herbal oils..but anything water based yes..:)
@margomartinezmusic6190
@margomartinezmusic6190 5 жыл бұрын
Mold happens when the dense compacted hair doesn't get the proper opportunity to dry. Never go to sleep on your dreads wet. Mold uses moisture to grow. Additionally, if you put oil on your hair while it's wet the oil can trap the moisture and cause mold. It's best to use any oils when the hair is dry. Yes I have dreads. Yes, I'm a former stylist.

Rip them. Right after a hot shower before you dry your hair, pull the ones apart that are merging at the root. It doesn't hurt if you do it after a shower because the hair is weaker while wet so it will rip more easily. This may not be the best advice but its what I do and a lot of my natty haired friends have always done to keep congos from forming. Good luck!
