This past weekend, SeaWorld hosted their inaugural Seven Seas Food Festival 5K Fun Run, and I registered myself and Brennan to participate! I picked up the run bibs and filled out the registration papers the day before, so we arrived at SeaWorld around 6:30am for a 7am race start. The course took us around the SeaWorld parking lot, into Sesame Street, around Mako and over to Atlantis, past Manta and the park entrance, and finally across the lagoon bridge and over to Ice Breaker and Wild Arctic. After getting our medals and enjoying the post-race entertainment, I dropped off Brennan at home and came back to the park to use the Seven Seas Food Festival redemption coupons, along with a couple other Passholder rewards, and rode Manta to see the Penguin Trek construction, concluding my day riding the Sky Tower for the first time in years and feeding the sharks. This was a fantastic day at SeaWorld and was a phenomenal way to spend the morning/early afternoon, and we're excited to participate in more SeaWorld races in the future!
