Dear teacher, Shaun. I really appreciate your valuable work. Words alone can't express my true feeling towards your great work. You are so amazing. I have had difficulty understanding this sentence for weeks."The London underground is the oldest system, having opened in 1863." I posted this question in many English forums, but I got no success. You are an amazing teacher. Believe me ! Today, in your video, I got the answer to this ambiguous grammar rule. I hope someday see you and join your English classes in Canada. You are amazing, really amazing. This question have made me busy for weeks. I wanted to use this kind of grammar in my essay , but I couldn't understand how it would be possible without knowing the clear usage of it. Now you make me happy, really happy. Wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and long life. I really appreciate your help.

It was Secondary 3 to 4 grammar. But I wish I had a teacher like you which would teach a grammar course like you when I was studying at university. It would be a great enhancement to my English skills. But language is not just about grammar. It also includes culture, literature, communication, linguistic, and translation, etc. Luckily, I am not an English teacher who needs to explain and produce all these items. We just studied different materials and sources with a different approach.

Thank you for the wonderful instructions. They are really practical and useful. Watching the stream, I found myself could be sometimes confused by identifying the function between simultaneity and reason, such as in : ex. Listening to the music, Ellen tripped herself. Besides realigning, could it also mean simultaneous? How could this being distinguished?

Teacher Shaun, i realy need your help. I need to know if my sentence is correct. if the participle phrase is put in it right place? "using an unusual structure in her book, Lalami alternates between past and present to depict each charecter's story; she explains the reasons that force them to immigrate, evoking all the hardship they tackled before deciding their illegal attempt." this last phrase "evoking all the...." is it a participle phrase or something else? is it correct to put a comma right before it?
