I am using a rat tail comb, a parting comb, Silk Elements Edge Gel, and rubber bands in this video. (I showed you all scissors in this video, but I DO NOT use the scissors until I get to the actual braiding process!

I nearly cried watching this video! I am usually a very patient person BUT THIS video has tried ever ounce of patience that I have! It took far too long for her to get started and even longer to part! However, it was the tortoise speed & editing out the top parts for me (the very reason I clicked on this video)! I thought I was tripping when I started to get frustrated with how long it took her to even start, so I came to view the comments and it turns out that I wasn't! 😩 Help Jesus! 🤦

Just read through the comments ... obviously with practice parting will be faster. Being supportive is key y’all, those who said she took to long and had nothing to say positive after is rude. Especially Bc my slow ass takes forever to make clean parts. ... and eventually I’ll get better with time sooooo on that note ❗️❗️❗️ I love the parts and thank you for the video.

I wouldn't even want to know.... I am reading comments and she still on part number two! 🤦. These braids can be the mess and I wouldn't have her do my hair off the time it takes her to part. That would be the purpose of getting jumbo braids to cut a lot of time out 😱.... And still on braid number two... Smh... Wow!

I have to agree with the timing concerns. I love the work but I’m currently 9 mins into the video and she hasn’t put one rubber band on. Seems like if she used clips or something to hold the sections separate it would make it faster. The hair was beautiful after it was finally finished though

All clients MUST come already shampooed, conditioned, fully detangled, and blow dried fully straight from roots to ends, if you do that boo, your kinks will be fine! You wouldn’t believe the clients I get with real Kinky hair (they only come not blow dried fully straight if they want me to do a shampoo service on them) 95% of my clients are fully natural
