As a just turned 68 year old, who 'watched' both of these two beautiful ladies, in their respective TV series. If you didn't watch this series when it originally aired on NBC-TV, on Saturday nights. It's probably because you probably weren't BORN when this show made its debut.

Well Linda Carter once said on entertainment Tonight when the show went off the air that they didn't have good writers for the show it was a good idea ... Cagney and Lacey when CBS cancel it at one point NBC thought they take an opportunity to put this show out unfortunately it didn't last only 13 episodes

I wonder if Lynda specifically requested that most of the outfits she wore for this show be modest. Other than a few notable exceptions (some strapless dresses come to mind), she spent most of this show in pant suits or other outfits that didn't really show off her amazing figure. Loni always seemed to always be wearing something sexy that showed off her curves, but Lynda only had a few outfits that showed off her statuesque figure.

I saw Lightning in a Bottle starring Linda Carter and i thought that it was sooo sad. He let her feel so guilty about what had happened, when he had been the guilty one by taking that woman everywhere with him. 👿👿👿

It was too bad this show was on a different network than the one that owned the right to Wonder Woman at the time. It would have been sexy to see the women have to investigate at a superhero convention and we could have seen Lynda don her Wonder Woman costume again. It would have been amazing to see her do something that seemed to require superhuman abilities and Sydney would ask "How did you do that?" and Carole would have replied "I am Wonder Woman after all".

It certainly didn’t help that NBC aired it on Saturday Nights at 9PM Eastern & Pacific, 8PM Atlantic, Alaska,Hawaii, Central, and Mountain. One, people generally don’t watch Television on Saturday nights especially in the 1980’s! Second, it was on against Air-wolf on CBS, and the time slot’s winner being Season 8 of The Love Boat on ABC! Coincidently, Loni Anderson was on that show at least three times that I am aware of! The first time she played a very ditzy mistress. Second time she played one of Donny Osmond’s hillbilly relatives from West Virginia along side Richard Paul (who also portrayed the President of C.U.R.E. on Season 3 of WKRP In Cincinnati). Finally, she played a big name actress who disguises herself as her personal assistant so she can have privacy. (Hey, I relate!) She does so by putting on a brunette wig and librarian glasses and speak with a cockney accent. BTW, she was originally a brunette from both earlier pictures and her own admission.

@@markhaddox7220 True and this was in the days before DVRs so you could only choose one program to watch. I also think that Lynda was trying to downplay the "T&A" aspect of her Wonder Woman look so they always had her dressed in very modest outfits (with a few exceptions). Loni fully embraced her sexual attraction during the series, but it probably would have helped if Lynda had dressed sexier during the series. I remember reading a fairly negative review about the series that was written at the time and part of it read something like "this series has two of the biggest boobs on TV and I am not talking about what is filling the star's bras.

I tried to watch this. This is one of the few shows/movies I've quit on. The Bar scene was just too ridiculous. Writers, we don't need more signaling that the 2 stars are SUPER attractive. It's the reason we're all watching. I'm 55 and tired of seeing men portrayed as lowly sap simps.

I agree, the writing/production on the show was way too basic and formulaic. Lynda had the same issue with Wonder Woman, as the series went on the writing became like a Saturday morning kids show rather than a serious superhero drama. I think they always thought that the stars beauty and raw sex appeal would carry the show.

I can see why this show failed due to its horrible dragged out intro. Compare this opening to Heart To Heart opening. This needed to be fast and cool ~not boring and story telling.
