This video shows the fastest and most efficient method of opening drywall walls and ceilings using a pike pole or ceiling hook. Known as the punch technique, this method of overhauling gypsum board results in the most wall or ceiling opened with the least amount of physical exertion. Those are gypsum boards, it’s an inert mineral compressed into a flat sheet and laminated between stout paper. Google “drywall” “gypsum board” or “sheet rock”. It’s one of the most common wall and ceiling materials in the United States.
