My dog just got diagnosed of parvo and she's 50/50 shes 2 months old her name is leaa she's a stray dog that i rescued im sad RN

Can an 8 year old dog get this? She all of a sudden wouldn’t eat, started with diarrhea with blood, then vomiting , then died after 5 days of being like this .

Yes it can but it's rare. My 3 year old German Shepherd has it.

Take her to the vet asap . This really kills them fast . No time to wait .

Whay we dont call parvo virus in dogs by panluokopenia as in feline , i mean we just say canine parvo virus not pan luokopenia as in cats

Nooooo! My kitten named Lily died yesterday and my another got the virus. Lily was so cute and so lazy. Another kitten named Jannah which means paradise in Arab. I have also another cat named Mia which do not have the virus. Lily died, Jannah getting stronger and Mia is fine.

My dog 7 year old died of organ failure due to parvovirus! She just passed this morning, its night! She was my only friend! 😭

I am very sorry that your wonderful friend passed away. You and I both love our dogs to the nth degree. Here is a quote I like-----"If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went......!!!!!!!
