Pasquale Carpino was the best chef on TV. I sure do miss this singing chef. I'll never forget the heartwarming episode of him becoming teary-eyed when he mentioned how his mother would use leeks in her cooking. May God forever keep him.

This brings back memories. My father and I used to watch Pasquale's Kitchen Express on Sunday mornings... way way back. We both loved it. "I sing to the food and make the food happy." My father passed away years ago. Watching this, I felt like Dad was watching this with me. THANK YOU.

I know you wrote this 2 years ago, but I just want to mention to you how much this guy reminds me of my dad.He used to love watching this chef because he was from his hometown, Calabria, Italy. My dad was a great cook, Pasquale was the only chef he would listen to.I just stumbled upon this and it automatically reminded me of my dad who unfortunately passed away in 2017.

Cyndi, I can totally relate! When I was a youngster, long time ago, my Dear Aunt Mae and I would watch on North Carolina Public TV. She instilled the love for food and cooking through shows such as this. We were loved, weren't we?
