Thank you for this video. I have observed that when I took simulator exam I was not able to copy paste from kubernetes io and paste into the shell. Could you let me. Know if you have faced the same issue and if it will be the same in real exam as well?

Either it was not copied or not pasted properly.Try Ctrl+Shift+C/V if Ctrl+C/V doesnt work. If both are not working, you can contact the support.

I recommend learning the fundamentals before attempting these exams. Get experience and later try the exams because these certifications will never get you a job.

@@thecloudpilot thanks for response. Getting the experience is the trickiest part. Although I have considerable amount of Java experience but still getting into a Cloud project to get hands on experience in these technologies is becoming difficult. Everyone wants prior cloud experience.

I've worked in the delivery as a Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer for almost 2 years. Although I'm in presales now, I'm still equipped with my hands-on knowledge on these tools and try to keep it upto date.

How many month did it take to learn kubernettes from zero??

To learn the basics, I'd say 2 weeks maximum. For the certification, it took me almost 3 months to gain that confidence and pass the exam since my Day 1 of learning Kubernetes.

CKAD is for DevOps professionals or for developers?

Can be done by anyone. For a developer who wants to do application deployment related activities, this is a good one to attempt.

CKAD harder than CKA? i've passed CKA with second time.

CKAD is easier than CKA in my opinion because it deals mainly with all the Kubernetes objects.

you must know object of kubernetes: deployment, daemonset,config map, persistend volume, kube api, etcd and etc...

Yes absolutely. Learning this may be difficult but its not impossible. But, having hands-on experience is a key element to own.

Having certifications are good, but they may/may not help you get a job. Certification is not a guarantee, rather it's an endorsement.
