The best integrated I have heard is ASR exclusive 2 with battery power supply except it’s massive !

Reviewers seem to shy away from ranking these high quality integrated amps. As Jay has mentioned at this price point it comes down to personal taste of what kind of sound signature you like and what works in your system. It's always best to go to a dealer or even better get them home for a audition, but sometimes one dealer doesn't stock all of these amps. Which can make things tricky and difficult to narrow down. This is my ranking- 1) Dan Dagostino momentum integrated 2) Gryphon Diablo 300 3) PassLab INT 250 4) Mark Levinson 585. They are all fantastic amps if you are looking for an integrated

Thanks for the video about the pass labs I hope you do a comparison I purchased the int 250 a couple of months ago and I’m blown away how good it sounds with the Harbeth Super HL5 40th anniversary The Amp is very powerful so I can crank the amp up to about 55 on the dial and it’s loud Also when I play music at night and play on the lowest setting of 1 it boggles my mind how good the music sounds at the lowest possible volume level I mostly use the system for near field listening and computer gaming and with the Harbeths I can sit at the computer desk the speakers are just set to the back of the desk at the sides so very close and the effects of games sounds like it’s coming out of the screen as well as having an amazing overall soundstage

The two best intergrated amps I’ve heard are sadly at the 38k mark and I had 20k so sadly didn’t get one but they are the Goldmund Telos and the CH Precision universal

Few months ago I replace my Burmester Separate 011+956 ,with Pass Labs INT 250.Unbelievable how Pass sound better even is cheaper. Depend from each set up,but most of the time I think that Integrate is better and more usefully

I’m definitely a Nelson Passed Fan. He releases for free his circuit diagrams with illustrated build guide for his Class A amplifiers and preamplifiers so you can have his class a pass labs sound signature. You just have to be willing and able to build it from scratch with discrete components.

Nice video. Keep it up Jay. I've heard the INT 250 with Wilson Yvette's and it was really good. If you have a limited budget and space in your rack, it is a pretty good all-in-one product. It doesn't get you to separates, but it is fairly close. I've heard the INT 60 on a different system that included my speakers, but I personally like the INT 250 better. As you brought up, integrated' are great because you only need one power cord, NO interconnect, and most importantly, one rack space. Be aware if you are trying to put this integrated into an enclosed rack that it is very wide.

Jay, I ordered the int-250. This is going to be a huge step up for me at 12.5k from Parasound A21+. Im wondering what streamer and dac would work for someone that is scraping every penny to buy this amp. Thanks

Both of those amps are ocd nightmares - lets put two meters....on the same far right left side. Pass, lets just slap the volume knob any ol place with no attempt at symmetry.

Jay.. INT-60 is not pure class A only the first 30 watts. Try it with BW 803 d3 its magical!!

Audionet Humbodt integrated has 4 transformers there is no compromise BUT it is 50 grand but true dual mono in everything. It has no difference from the separates.

I do not see any analogue sources in your room. So I am wondering why you have an integrated? Why not use a 2ch Pass power amp and drive it with your DCS DAC? Wouldn't that be a cleaner, simpler chain with higher quality components?

Jay… I’m in the market for a new integrated… I’m demoing the Diablo 300 which you mentioned you had… how would you compare the Luxman 509, Pass Int 250, and the Diablo… which would be your final choice… I’m using Wilson Audio Sabrina X… looking forward to your thoughts

Thoughts on the INT-60 or INT-25 vs Luxman L-590AXII?

Excellent video, as always. While $12K isn't exactly cheap compared to what the general public owns, they help buy a nice system for the price of a decent car (figure Honda Accord thru BMW 5 series), as opposed to just a single component.

I heard Pass Labs with Avalon here in The Netherlands and it sounds like shit, thin and harsh,but this combo,Wilson+Pass is very good indeed!

I have consistently found pass labs to be light in the low end and a little less detailed than state of the art. What are your thoughts? Pass looks awesome and built like tanks but overall just ok sonically.

The Pass presented itself as a really good value, perhaps not as good as separates, but pretty close for much less coin. Does the INT 250 run hot? Yes please do a shootout of the INT250 v Lux separates, which should be an interesting comparison.
