OMG. I remember NYSC. We started walking in the morning and got back later afternoon. This was the only song on my playlist, every other song was slowing me down or did match the walking pace i needed. I walked to the beat and it gave me the push i needed. Those soldiers are bastards !! they were jugging up and down motivating us. my legs were pretty useless for the next 24 hours.

Hmmmm!! Golden Oldies!!! This was nearly 15 years ago! Naija music didn't start yesterday!! This song forms part of the building blocks that our current Naija music was built on! Interestingly enough, at the time of this hit, and early P Square, Timaya had Bracket, Ghanaians themselves aptly called these songs "Naija Beats"!!! They were all very popular in Ghana, but they never claimed any of these hits as theirs in those days! But when the Naija music became a fad , and was crossing the world, that's when they began to spew the nonsense that we went to Ghana to learn from them! Most unbelievable! Time Wasters! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
