Pass The Beat

In this excerpt, students play the game, Pass the beat around the room. Standing in a circle, each student must say one beat from the phrase, pass-the-beat a-round the room. If they happen to be the rest at the end of the phrase, they are to touch their shoulders on the beat. Students who are out sit down, but still count for a beat with the remaining students saying the missing words in their head. Once students become comfortable, the word beat is replaced with a stamp.

Aaron Baldwin yup at my school we play a game like u count but can’t say 7 or 2 like 1,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,13 if u say 12 U would have to stand up and do a dance I hate it then once it get to a certain number we add a rule like don’t say 4 instead you have to compliment someone it’s nerve wrecking cause the attentions all on you

I don't think the whole school has Apple computers they are there because it is a music classroom and for music apple computers are much better and they probably have window seven computers in the rest of the school that is how it is at my school

Paige Nicholas same..... well we did in our music rooms, until the government took them away. And music gcse as a whole has been taken away. It’s a shame because everything I wanted to do as a career revolved around music.

Just to get it clear to everyone who DOESNT live in Australia, Aussies wear these types of uniforms in high school and in primary school it’s just a choice between shorts and T-shirt for everyone or a dress for girls it a choice..

I taught general music my first 3 years to some hard-to-manage kiddos. After coming across this video, I knew this would be the golden ticket to not only improving their rhythm skills, but providing them a fun reward activity. They LOVED it. As a band teacher now, this is one of the activities I miss most. Thank you for introducing this to me & to many.

We play this in choir :) we get to going really fast but we have to it out lap every time and clap in between. It’s really fun! I’ve won almost every time 😂

netflixisbae I know 😂, I never mentioned grades... yr9 grade8 and s2 are all the same ur around about 13-14. Which is what they’re in. And I’m in s3 which is grade9 and year 10. Y r schools so confusing 😂😂😂
