I'm a 14 year old girl and for the last few years it has been really hard for me. I'm an only child and the class topper. I live with my mom, her parents, het cousin and her aunt. My dad lives about 100 kilometers away from me. We're not really close. I can hardly speak to him because he can become very rude withoit knowing it. He pushes too hard on me because of school. When we were on summer holydays, he spoiled it for me and my mom. For around 5 years or even more my grandpa and my aunt have been fighting and yelling at each other almost every day, they broke the rest of the family. Aunt is angry almost every day and destroys my happiness as soon as I come from school. I was depressed for a few years, but I think I'm okay now. Because I'm the smartest in our grade I've been bullied often. Now we're really close, but it's our last school year now. I also play flute and I participate in every school competition(math, english, geography, history, biology and a lot more). It's a big pressure on me. My mom started to put too much pressure on me in the last year or so. She constantly asks me about studying, competitions, flute, not doing many chores, being on my phone often... We have more and more arguments, we don't yell at each other, but still. It hurts me so much. Not just because of her, but because I make myself angry. It's my fault afterall, I don't study enough. I still have the best grades and results. I feel so overwhelmed because of this, I can't get her to trust me... I have a dog, a guinea pig and seven cats and they are my biggest joy. But still. It hurts so much to see my mom, my best friend, who was always there for me, become that mom that makes you feel bad, worthless. I'm not saying she's bad, she is still the best but we just can't get along. I know I get offended too easly. It's hard. Thank you if you read it till the end. I wush you the very best

No baby U don't get offended easily. I wish i could u really hug you as i almost cried Reading this. You'll be fine baby, almost 10 years ago i was in a similar situation as yours and i was 15 years old. My parents didn't really showed affection, mom was diagnosed with depression and bpd and dad was distant and often used to criticise me with so much harsh words i can't explain. I've also been beaten up by my dad and for doing enough at school or doing home chores. Even tho i tried my best, I wasn't good enough for them. But it's been 10 years and my life has changed so much since then i grew up got stronger and even found a loving partner. Everything gets well baby, u just have to keep going.
